I used to love this show now I find myself using the fast forward button and sometimes just deleting it.they need to replace the writers if this show is to survive…do not like the young sister she is just not likeable…the marriage of the brother and Paige in last week’ s episode they were tied together and running to help their marriage…pleeze…and Jeramiah I had hoped for him and Divya….now they have him involved with an illegal alien so the writers are sending us a political message….no politics in Royal Pains it is meant to be an escape for us not able to live in the Hamptons….this show is in serious trouble….

yes I like to show and it was wrong To cancel the show. It was fun to watch and the picturesque view of the Hamptons were breathtaking. And most of the times the story lines were interseting and fun to see where they are go I ng to go. So if could bring the Royal Pain back. Thank you, I’ve been waiting since it last want of the air.

Royal Pains is a FANTASTIC show. I have been hooked on it since the very beginning. It is one of my absolute favorite shows. It’s the type of show that I can’t wait to watch every week. I love the story lines and all the twist , turns and unexpected drama. It ‘s f abulous because the drama Isn’t too over the top. It has just the right amount of drama. I enjoy the diversity of characters and patients/clients. The main characters are incredible to watch. They are entertaining, intriguing, caring, support and loving. There is a great dynamic to the show. You absolutely CANNOT CANCEL THE SHOW!!!! lease, please, please don’t cancel the show.

I totally agree with Nancy comment. For me the show has ended with Jill Flint leaving. She and Hank and their ongoing relationship where the key elements of the show. Whenever Jill appeared, there was some kind of sparkling in the air. For my taste, apart from Hank, she had the biggest presence in the scenes.

For whatever reason she had to leave, with her gone, there is only one way the show can go…. and that’s downwards…

Love the show, but should pay more attention to Hank, as the doctor, than his brother, the ROYAL PAIN. Can’t wait for it to return.

  7. Nancy says

Getting rid of Jill was the dumbest move ever. She was the best part of the show and like them or hate them, she and Hank were a big part of the show. Now she is gone and its clear the writers want to act like she is dead! She never came back in the movie as promised. And since has not even been spoken of. Jill Flint has a new show she is doing so unless it gets cancelled and the RP writers get their heads out of their asses, this show is dead to me.

This show is the same formula week after week after week! They just “happen to be around when someone collapses of a mysterious, almost unheard of disease”! They (Hank) always figures out what it is just in time and then on to the happenstance mysterious, unusual disease! Evan is obnoxious, his wife is disgustingly sweet, and the only two characters worth watching are Hank and Campbell Scott!

  9. Deb says

Royal Pains is character driven. We either love them or
annoyed by them….. But my husband and I continue to
Watch them every week.. Year after year. It is old time television.
No blood. Rape. Horror. Don’t get me wrong we watch the other
Stuff but RP is different. Simple. Nice. Pretty scenery. Pretty clothes.
Pretty people. Refreshing. A break from the other stuff!

  10. Michael says

After season 3 the program started to decline. Each season a bit more. It’s still watchable but I don’t look forward to it as much as before. Still with the ending of Burn Notice, Dexter, Breaking Bad around the corner I’m glad at least this & Psych this will come back for at least another year

  11. Arthur Rossi says

The show remains good when the focus on Hank. Unfortuantely, Evan may be the most annoying charcater (and actor) on TV. Any time he begins to talk we hit the mute button. The show is getting harder and harder to watch the more they focus on “the CFO of Hankmed.” Hopefully the writers realize that he (and his story line) is dragging the show down.

  12. Carolyn Boyles says

I hate that the show now centers on the relationships between the characters instead of Hank being “the MacGyver of Medicine” as he has been called. It was much more interesting in the first two seasons with the medical mysteries.
