HBO reports Westworld is averaging a gross audience of 11.7 million viewers. The premium cable channel says it is outperforming Game of Thrones and True Detective, during similar times in their first seasons.
The series is based on Michael Crichton’s 1973 film Westworld. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy created the Westworld TV series adaptation. The duo executive produces and writes the show. Nolan also directs.
The ten-episode first season of Westworld premiered on Sunday, October 2, 2016.
What do you think? Have you been watching the first season of Westworld on HBO? Will you return for season two? Let us know, below.
I Love this show and can’t wait for season 2. Love the actors and love
the story line. I love it as much as I love Game of Thrones.
Yes I want to no what they are going to do next, I enjoyed the first season
Yes, I’ll watch season 2, but don’t know where they’re going next.
Not a fan. I guess it bacause as a syfy fan I have seen the original so many times I know the main story line. Just pull the plug. On the robots, and the show.
I LOVED IT and am THRILLED that it will be returning. Superb acting and beautiful sets and costumes. A bit violent, but i say that about almost everything. It’s a rare series that keeps you thinking and engaged. KUDOS to HBO for assuming that we still have brains!
One season was enough for this show. The last episode was a fine wrap up to a deliberately confusing, constantly self-referencing (should I say recursive?) plot lines. I won’t spend the time to watch a second season.
I’ve found it hard to follow at times… Never really knowing what’s the function of Ed Harris… But curiosity alone keeps me glued and looking forward to each episode. But a ten show season sucks, and It’s a long time until next October!!! Overall I love it. First thing I’ve followed since the Demise of Boardwalk Empire.
I will not be watching way to much nudity. HBO has lost its mind.
Nudity is still much better and less harmful than the violence going on in too many tv shows and movies.
Amazing how you not want to see Thandie Newton doing her role so perfectly
