TV show description:
This medical drama follows two surgeons who have differing points of view of how to treat patients. Egotistical brain surgeon Doctor Douglas Hanson (Stanley Tucci) is interested only in the medical facts while his protege Jonathan Seger (Mark Feuerstein) believes the psychological health of his patients is of great importance.
Episode eight – Plugged In
Hanson decides to do a cutting edge procedure on a man who is suffering from severe clinical depression and cannot be cured with medication.

The show was intended to be a midseason replacement but was moved up on the schedule after CBS cancelled the Ray Liotta series Smith after only three episodes.
Billed as “the next great medical drama,” the series was pulled off the air after three episodes and five never aired. Four episodes are available via iTunes. All eight episodes can be purchased through Amazon.com
The title of the show refers to the weight of the human brain.
Tucci began playing a surgeon on ER at the end of the NBC medical drama’s 13th season.
