Just days after the WB series finale, it looks like the Camdens will be back for a record-breaking eleventh season. Remarkably, the new CW network has reportedly agreed to purchase thirteen new episodes of 7th Heaven.
In an article published today in Mediaweek: “With the merging of the WB with UPN, and an influx of corporate cash in the new partnership of CBS and Warner Bros, a decision was made to bring back the WB’s most-watched show on the new CW.” The show’s stars Stephen Collins, Catharine Hicks, David Gallagher, Beverly Mitchell, Mackenzie Rosman and George Stults are all expected to return.
Like all of the broadcast networks, the CW is still in the process of finalizing their fall primetime schedule. The network is expected to officially announce where on the schedule 7th Heaven will be at its upfront session on Thursday, May 18, 2006. Heaven aired on the Mondays and is likely to remain in that time period next season.

I am so relieved that my favourite show is back for another season. The way it ended in may It needs to be back to tie things up. What a great cast

What wonderful news. 7th Heaven has been our very favorite show. There is so much trash on TV now and since the finale, I just switch our TV to a cable news channel to listen to while I do dishes. I am not interested in other programming on the WB except for Everwood which I am sad to learn has also been cancelled.

I am glad 7th Heaven is having a 11th season. However to be successful it will need the original stars to succeed. Hopefully Matt and Mary will be able to appear in some of the episodes.Matt supplies the stability for the other kids and Mary supplies the glamour.
7th Heaven is one of the best shows on TV. If the Simpsons (another one of my favorite shows) can go on for nearly 20 years, than 7th Heaven can as well. True, they are two different types of shows, but maybe 7th Heaven will be able to match the Simpsons in terms of longevity.
I am so happy that 7th heaven is returning for an 11th season. The new season should be exciting with Mary,Sarah,and Lucy having twins and with Ruthie coming back from Scotland. I think they should write a love triangle story involving Ruthie,Martin, and a older hot guy Ruthie met while she was in Scotland(great idea!!!!).
with matts wife, lucy, and mary all pregnant with twins will season 11 end with all sets of twins on air? that to me was leaving a gap to big to end with.

Thanks so much for saving 7th Heaven and continuing a terrific family tradition!! We, too, have watched every episode since the very beginning and the thought of losing the Camdens after all these years was like being told a family member had a terminal illness!!! I am a faithful “7th Heaven” viewer, have been for all 10 years, I’ve seen every episode. I’ve seen Stephen Collins in a lot of other productions but this is absolutely his best work ever. The entire cast is wonderful and I am happy to see it back.
Thank you so much WB and UPN, For putting 7th heaven back on the air for a 11th season i will be looking forward to seeing it in the fall. it is really a great show my husband and i watched it every Monday night the cast is great and and i hope they all come back too. iam so excited i cannot wait to see the show again. and i hope the show last another couple of years.
thank you thank you, WB and UPN, u have saved a great show, and since its the most watched show on the WB. I hope it will continue after 11 seasons, why stop at 11, maybe like 13,or 14,or 15, cause we dont want to see it go after 11 seasons. cause of how great the show is. parents love it, cause it deals with serious issues.
