Get ready for 90’s House. The new series will land next month, and someone new has joined the series as a co-host. Christina Milian will team up with Lance Bass to hose the new reality competition series, which was originally set to air on VH1.
MTV revealed more about this series in a press release. Check that out below.
“MTV today announced that singer and actress Christina Milian will join Lance Bass as host of the network’s highly anticipated new series 90’s HOUSE, premiering Tuesday, September 26th at 11 PM ET/PT. 90’s fan-favorite guest stars include Mario Lopez, Tatyana Ali, Michelle Williams, Joey Fatone, Marques Houston, Tyson Beckford, Salt N’ Pepa, Kid N’ Play, Bill Bellamy, Joey Lawrence, Kel Mitchell, Lori Beth Denberg and more.
The competition show places 12 millennial housemates in a 90’s inspired house that forces the young adults to officially unplug their modern-day devices and party like it’s 1990. With only the technology, catch phrases and fashion from that decade, each episode opponents will face elimination by competing in various 90’s themed challenges. The raddest contestant will win $90K, a Mazda Miata and two VIP tickets on a 90’s cruise.
Milian is a multi-talented phenomenon whose career has spanned multiple, chart topping records including “Between Me and You, “AM to PM,” and the two time Grammy-nominated “Dip It Low,” from her second studio album, “It’s About Time.” Her co-songwriting credits include: “Play” (Jennifer Lopez), “Baby” (Justin Bieber), and “Walk Away” (Paula DeAnda). Milian’s talents extend across all aspects of entertainment from The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, to starring as Magneta, in the remake of Rocky Horror Picture Show. In addition, Milian has also starred in major films like Baggage Claim, “Love Don’t Cost a Thing, Be Cool, and Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. Currently, Milian stars in the unscripted series, Superhuman.
Lance Bass is the quintessential illustration of a highly successful and driven jack-of-all-trades: singer, host, actor, producer, writer, entrepreneur, philanthropist and cosmonaut. Beyond his fame as a member of the phenomenally successful group *NSYNC, where the group sold an impressive 60 million plus records worldwide, Bass has made himself a household name throughout the globe. Most recently, Bass served as host of LOGO’s Finding Prince Charming, a daily panelist on The Meredith Vieira Show and hosted the daily SIRIUS XM pop culture talk show, Dirty Pop Live.
