TV show description:
A coming-of-age story, this TV show is based on the best-selling novel by Nick Hornby.
After writing a hit song, Will Freeman (David Walton) didn’t have to worry about working ever again. It brought him a life of free time, free love, and freedom from financial woes. He’s single, unemployed and loving it. He’s seen how the other half live through his best friend — Andy (Al Madrigal), a thoroughly whipped stay-at-home dad — and wants no part of it.
Things get interesting when needy single mom Fiona (Minnie Driver) and her oddly charming 11-year-old son, Marcus (Benjamin Stockham), move in next door to Will and disrupt his perfect world.
When Marcus begins dropping by his home unannounced, Will’s not so sure about being a kid’s new best friend — until Will discovers that women find single dads irresistible. That changes everything and a deal is made: Marcus will pretend to be Will’s son and in return, Marcus is allowed to chill at Will’s house — playing Ping-Pong and gorging on steaks, something his very vegan mom would never allow.
Before he knows it, Will starts to enjoy the visits and even finds himself looking out for the kid. In fact, this newfound friendship starts to teach him a few things about himself and about caring for others.

What do you think? Do you like the About a Boy TV series? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a third season instead?
Always puts a warm smile on my face. One of theeeeeeee BEST shows to come along in quite a while. Please KEEP!

The writing is warm, the acting is natural, one of the human shows; please renew it so I can continue to live with each of them.

Love it, refreshing compared to the other crime ridden shows or reality shows
do not toss away the good ones…..there are so many bad shows out there. keep the winners.
keep it
Keeeeeeep IT!!
Just love this show! It has an updated Wonder Years tone. I love that it is original, quirky, tender, funny. It is family friendly without being stupid or sweet. Great relationships. Just love it.
I loved this hw. Clever writing, great dynamics with the actors. I hate to see this end. Wish it would be renewed. Why does it seem like the good shows are cancelled and the crazy ones (Reality TV) still remain.
I only have the opportunity to watch a few tv shows & even then it is “On Demand”. About a boy- is one the shows I look forward to seeing along with “Sirens”.
I LOVE this show!!!!!!! it’s sooooooooo gooood.
Definitely want this renewed for at least another season! Characters, writers, acting & casting are all amazing!!! Tops the list of my favorite sitcoms.
Please, please, please do NOT cancel this show! About a Boy is refreshingly funny!!!
