TV show description:
Charlie Goodson (Charlie Sheen) is a non-traditional therapist who specializes in anger management. He has a successful private practice and holds sessions with his group of primary patient regulars each week. He also hosts pro bono counseling sessions for an inmate group at a state prison.
Prior to his becoming a therapist, Charlie was a stalled minor league baseball prospect. His road to the majors was sidetracked by his own struggle with anger issues. After a stint in therapy with the team’s psychologist, Kate Wales (Selma Blair), he made it to the majors and had one terrific season before his anger issues put him on the shelf for good. In the final game of his career, he tried to snap a bat over his leg, which resulted in a career-ending injury. That injury led him back to school and his current profession.
Charlie thrives on the chaos in his life while still battling his own anger issues. His life is complicated by his relationships with his therapist/best friend/sex partner Kate; his beautiful ex-wife Jennifer (Shawnee Smith) — whose positive outlook, but poor choice in men, frustrates Charlie; and their 13-year-old daughter, Sam (Daniela Bobadilla), who has OCD.
On top of that, he has to try to help his patients, like Patrick (Michael Arden), who have plenty of problems of their own. Lacey (Noureen DeWulf) is a spoiled rich girl who’s sent to join Charlie’s group after she shot her cheating boyfriend. Nolan (Derek Richardson) has the strangest anger issue of all — he has no anger.
Episode #100 — Charlie & the 100th Episode
Charlie has to make a decision between keeping his group and being a sports psychologist for his former baseball team. He takes the job for awhile but it’s not what he’d expected and he happily returns to helping his group.
First aired: December 22, 2014
What do you think? Do you think Anger Management should have been cancelled or renewed for a third season?
This is by far one of the best shows on TV. Please bring back.
Show is funny, true to life and well worth watching! good scripting and characters make
it believable!
Keep it! Charlie and his dad are great!
One of the greatest comedies i have ever watched, i freaking love this show it’s hilarious and spot on why on earth would they cancel it???? i thought it was better to keep things professional not personal, being nosy wondering about his social life man **** his social life that is none of your business how bout your social life who’s your most recent partner so i can judge her and you along with talking **** about you filthy scumbags. Unprofessional ***** .
Anger Management was one of my favorite shows. NO NO NO it should have not been cancelled!!!!! Put it back on !!!!
One of the BEST shows I have seen in the past 5 years . . . Charlie is very talented & funny. What he does on his own private time is just that , PRIVATE . . . Bring the show back
think it sould be renewed, it´s the best comedy we can watch in ARGENTINA…
I think his TV show could last much longer, the show was very funny, I also like to talk about all the characters, are very good, they all played off of each other. Please bring Charlie Sheen (Carlos Estevez) back!
Hey, you guys with the suits at the networks, get off your asses and start looking for a producer who can come up with a role for Charlie before he gets too old for a sitcom. You know that he can produce enough ratings to maintain a 20 minute weekly show on one of the 4 big national networks, he’s done it up til now. And he’s proven to be in control with his life, the last few years, by showing up for work every day. So, que pasa amigos, give the guy a break and take advantage of the… Read more »
Charlie Sheen has his own way of doing things in his private life and as an actor, but most importantly, he’s a very likable person and a good human being. That said, the most important thing for a TV network is ratings and Charlie Sheen has shown everyone that he can produce them, just by being who he is. As polarized as his likability may be, he can still be milked for some good ratings, just by being Charlie Sheen and showing up for work every day. So, the suits at the networks have their work cut out for them,… Read more »
Charlie should have both of his most popular roles (Charlie Harper and Charlie Goodson) rekindled! I don’t care about his drug use, he’s still an amazing actor! Many other actors abuse drugs and get into trouble, so what’s the real problem with Charlie Sheen living his way? I’ll watch anything he does in his career!!!

Hate to see this show cancelled….started watching it in reruns and found myself looking for it every night. Characters are all hilarious and a nice fit together. Comedy, great writing, sexual innuendo and beautiful women…..what more can one ask for?
Charlie Sheen is washed up…..the show is ridiculous and should never have been on in the first place.
SO, IF YOU DON´T LIKE IT…..WATCH ANOTHER SHOW….IT´S EASY !!!
Are you kidding me? This is one of the funniest shows I’ve seen in quite some time. It could easily last another 2-3 seasons, or even longer, depending on the evolution of the show. What a great ensemble cast! Very similar to Frasier, Cheers, and 2 1/2 Men, when you have a great combination of actors and story line. Please bring this show back!
Seriously?! Anger Management sucked! I watched the show hoping that Charlie would find a new fit as good as Two and a half men, but no. Most of the characters and actors on AM were ill-fitted. The neurotic daughter and brain-dead wife made no sense to start with. And exactly who was suppose to buy Charlie Sheen as a therapist?! And what happened to the neighbor, that guy really had no purpose in the show (although I am a fan of his). Looks like this show tried hard initially to separate itself from 2 1/2 then realized that’s what people… Read more »
I am really disappointed that this show was cancelled !!! I think it could have lasted another season!!!! smh!!!
