The first season of AMC’s Into the Badlands just ended last night, but the cast and creators are already talking plans for season two.
Into the Badlands centers on a warrior, Sunny, (Daniel Wu) and a teenage boy, MK (Aramis Knight), who wander the Badlands, a futuristic feudal landscape ruled by self-interested and hostile barons.
Though the martial arts drama has not been officially renewed for a second season, it’s likely. The series has performed decently in the ratings, with an average season one viewership of around 4 million.
For season two, creators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough says they’ll continue to explore how Sunny and MK find enlightenment despite being professional killers.
“The price of redemption is gonna be steep,” Millar says.

What do you think? Did you watch the series finale of Into the Badlands? Would you like another season?
Great Series, cannot wait for the second season. Love the characters and interaction.
It was a magnificent series very interesting.
I can’t wait for the next season!! Outstanding new show!!
I cannot express how much I enjoyed @IntotheBadlands. The writing was far more superior than most new shows of late, with the exception of Jessica Jones. Daniel Wu & Emily Beecham are a force to be reckoned with. The plot, underlying exposition, and masterfully created sub-plots were not contrived in the least. If the the quality remains the same, it deserves a season 2, 3, …
