TV show description:
A drama, this TV series revolves around two mismatched law enforcement officers. They have polar opposite views of the world and (possibly) a grudging respect for each other’s abilities as they clean up the streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.
Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters) is a good but gruff and hard-boiled detective. He’s had his world turned upside down when strikingly handsome and charismatic Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) opens an FBI field office at the police station — and he chooses Russ to be his partner.
Milt’s polished sophistication and access to unlimited state-of-the-art equipment is impressive to his new co-workers in the absurdly underfunded department.
The pair work long hours together in the economically distressed city and it remains to be seen if Milt’s charm and endless supply of high-end resources or Russ’s old-fashioned cynicism, guile and deception will be the keys to catching the bad guys.
Other characters include Commander Guziewicz (Janet McTeer), Detective Fontanelle White (Kal Penn), Holly Dale (Aubrey Dollar), and Aaron Funkhauser (Edward Fordham, Jr.).
Episode #13 — Sympathy for the Devil
Milt survives a car bombing and enlists Russ to track down his would-be assassin, leading to startling revelations as to why Milt is the way he is and what brought him to Battle Creek.

I am so fed up with series I really enjoy ending after one series. Being part disabled the tv is everything to me. I was watching loads of series when I made a conscious effort to filter out a lot of them. How, ..Do I like the characters? Many many shows are too bogged down with deep emotions, intricate characters…e.g. The Affair….or The Last Panthers….okay……. deep scripts actors finding depth in the characterisations. Bummed out. Love this show. How can a show with Dean Winter AND Josh Duhmael be given only 1 little try? Nice to have engaging characters with real talent and wearing clothes because they don’t have to substitute boring , disgusting sex scenes and gutter talk to try to sell a lousy show. This show is delightful. Wish Netflix would pick it up.

Great show! Opposite partners who worked together as a team. Good drama with a bit of comedy mixed in. I knew a lot of people who enjoyed watching Battle Creek. Please bring it back!

This was a fun show! It had me from the start. Really funny moments thrown in to some detective work, especially with Dean being so competitive with Milt, they always had me laughing! I’m sad to hear that the show was cancelled. I hope they reconsider, please bring Battle Creek back!!!!!

This was a good show: not all blood, guts, & sex. And definitely not as as stupid as The Grinder. ( watched one episode & that was enough). Battle Creek has a great team with good chemistry. Please re-think this one?!
