With a great lead-in, Beauty and the Beast has the best chance of any new CW show this season of getting solid ratings. Will it survive or, like last year’s Secret Circle, or will it be cancelled?
Following a young beautiful homicide detective and her handsome-yet-scarred protector, Beauty and the Beast typically airs Thursday nights on The CW network. The cast includes Kristin Kreuk, Jay Ryan, Nina Lisandrello, Brian White, Max Brown, Nicole Gale Anderson, and Austin Basis.

Year-to-year, compared to The Secret Circle’s premiere in the same post-Vampire Diaries timeslot, the network was down by 8% in the demo (vs a 1.3 rating) and down 8% in viewership (vs 3.05 million). While these numbers were still very good, Beauty and the Beast won’t survive if its numbers fall like Secret Circle’s did.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Absolutely LOVE this show!! Definitely needs to be renewed for a second season!! The 2/21 episode when they finally kissed was amazing and I’ve probably watched it at least 5 more times on my iPad!! Every week it gets better and better, my favorite show on TV!!

Do not cancel please! Just discovered this spectacular series and has been addicted to it ! I wish there were some kind of books that related to the plot of the series I would have been the first one to buy it!! If it will be renewed I’m sure it will get better than vampire diaries. U carnt can cell it its a different show unique real passion love and mysterious it always makes me really sounded what’s gonna happen the week after maybe make the story lines a bit more exciting as kat is a detective and maybe add a little twist in the tale for the beast abiy of action but don’t cam cell it its a brilliant show and has a meaning xx

Love Beauty and the Beast!!! I have to watch it on CWTV.COM because it’s in the same time slot a GREY’S ANATOMY on ABC!! Too bad you can see how many view you get on your website of a show!!!
