Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
This show was my all time best for many reasons such as Bo with all of her abilities that she is so good at, Tate her young good looking father that loves her so much while he is trying to learn how to be a father, Winter always the protector, and all the other cast members have done really good. Please bring back this show and get it a chance to get more viewers. The show needs to be broadcasted more so that people will want to watch it. I did not even know about the show until I show… Read more »
move it to open Monday or Friday nights! Give us Believe and Crisis to enjoy during these ‘dead’ spots!
I can’t understand why you canceled this feel good drama!
So not fair!!!!! I have so many ideas of how far this show can go! How about a script contest… The winner gets to see it shot, help direct it and or small, cameo and all expense paid trip to the set. This show needs to come back! Bring back this show! Give it another chance!
I can’t Believe NBC has once Again put a really good, decent TV
Show “Believe” out, and its So Good you can’t Miss a show they
Cancel it. I, nor My Family, nor My Friends will Not watch NBC
Unless they bring back “Believe” instead of the Joke of reality,
Who sings, Who acts better shows that are so Fake!
I Hope”Believe” gets picked up, even if by a cable station I
Would Pay to watch it!
I cannot Believe My Favorite Show “Believe” has been canceled
NBC has a history of putting out great shows then pulling then out
From under the decent public who rely on good decent television.
I Hope the show gets picked up even if its on cable I’ll pay to watch
This very interesting show, so will All My Family, and Friends.
We Won’t be watching NBC anymore unless they bring”Believe”Back!
I liked the show and look forward NBC to resume the show
I looked forward to this show every week. I am very disappointed to learn that is has been cancelled, and hope another network is smart enough to pick it up.
Finally a show you can watch with your kids and what happens? It get cancelled. It was a great show and My daughter and myself are sad for it to end. I really dislike the people who make these decisions. Almost ready to get rid of the television altogether.
I wish they would run believe a second season. There’s not enough family shows out there. Most of the others are a bunch of sex, violence, home sexuality. You are making a mistake
PLESE BRING BELIEVE BACK ON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS THE BEST SHOW , IT WS A NICE FAMILY SHOW , WE NEED MORE FAMILY SHOWS ON , I LOVED THE SHOW ANDLOOKED FORWARD TO WATCHING IT ..
This is so messed up I wish they wouldn’t cancel this shoe I really fell in love wit TV show ii could watch it all the time day an night hope and pray they bring the second episode out.
Great show! Great acting! Believe is a show my family could watch together. There were no bloody murders, no rape, no incest, no drugs…but I guess NBC thinks that is what folks want these days. You are WRONG! You keep canceling shows with good plots/storylines and interesting actors ( Believe/Revolution) but you keep all those HORRID reality type shows. My own life is real enough – I want to see something made up that makes me feel good – and Believe did that! If it weren’t for Parenthood, I wouldn’t watch NBC. You guys blew it…again.
Just saw and watched on on demand today. Figures we watched the first season back to back then we see its been cancelled. Really starting to hate series shows.
This show should be renewed for at least a second season. The writers need to let Bo show more of her powers and start more individual stories of helping people.
