Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
In the interests of viewers, it would prove advantageous for the network to reconsider the cancelation of Believe.
Believe is an extraordinary show that even my children can watch. I think it was canceled due to a poor choice of scheduling. The network should have tried a different time and/or day for airing this program. Apparently, they weren’t truly vested in the success of this show.
I watched it faithfully, but I had to tape it because it aired the same time as Resurrection. I would alternate watching and taping both shiws I.e. One week I would watch Believe and tape Resurrection and vice versa. Why should viewers have to be denied seeing euther show?
Please don’t cancel this show. I absolutely love it. A wonderful family show
This is the only show I watched, I am sad it was canceled, I was looking forward for the next series
Let your feelings be known to NBC on their website. There is a section where you can voice your opinion about the cancellation of the show and encourage them to keep it going. Every opinion counts!!! Cheer up we are all behind you 🙂
I miss this show so much!!!
It was so great, one of my favorites
So sorry and sad to see it go.
Wish they would renew the series, such a great and unique show, disappointed to see it end so soon.
This is for the producers of Believe. Please try another net work to pick up this show. So many people love and enjoy the show that’s its a shame for it not to go on. Nell Norwood
I am very sorry to see that this was not renewed. My son and I started watching it by accident and kept watching it on purpose as the story was great and engaging. So few shows are like that any more and it rated in my viewing and I only tune in faithfully to about 7 shows each week. It is sad that 4.3 million viewers was not enough to let this show have a second season. There are shows that I have not even caught onto until the 5 or 6 season because I happen to pick up the… Read more »
Right on!! When will the TV powers that be realize that when the customer is satisfied with a program that they will have the support to keep the programming going by their viewing power. Why they did not give Believe its shot in the spotlight is beyond me and truly the Network caused its own loss of support by viewers who care about quality writing and the stories that come from creative minds!
Please don’t cancel believe it is a mother daughter watch night for me with my special needs daughter Jenna she love believe please keep it!!!

That just figures. All that garbage and evil out there and they have to go a pull a morally up right figure off the air. It was so refreshing to see a child-like faith in action with deep heart felt conviction. Even if she was doing things that only God can do. Perhaps if more people were moved with such compassion, God would do more of these things…
Bravo, Pat. Very well said and I completely agree. Is this the “change” we wanted? I don’t think so…money talks to these idiots. I’ve already asked them to realize who pays the cable/sat tv bills that allow the demographics game…no response.
Very disappointed. We loved this show. We lived for Monday evenings. Hope you reconsider and bring it back.
