Bo has some amazing abilities but unfortunately they didn’t help save her series. NBC has cancelled the Believe TV show after one season.
Believe revolves around a young girl who has special abilities and the adults who are trying to protect her. The cast includes Johnny Sequoyah, Jake McLaughlin, Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan, Jamie Chung, and Arian Moayed.
The series got off to a positive start, thanks to its premiere airing on a Monday night after NBC’s top-rated show, The Voice. Unfortunately only about 60% of that episode’s audience decided to tune in to watch the second episode six days later.
The ratings kept falling lower each week. This week’s installment of Believe drew just a 1.0 demo rating with 4.33 million viewers. Those numbers were just too low to justify ordering a second season.
On the positive side, it appears that NBC plans to order all of the remaining four episodes.
What do you think? Are you sorry that Believe hasn’t been renewed for a second season?
Well, this explains why NBC is so screwed up. This show was so much better than its competition. Wake up NBC before you are no longer a network.
Nooooooo!!!!!!!!I love that show they should bring it back…..
A great family show that everybody talked about and it had a great plot PUT IT BACK ON AND TAKE OFF ONE OF THE BS SHOES !!!
UNBELIEVABLE, you finally put out a program that makes sense on so many levels, and you cancel it???!!! Did you happen to take into account that some of the viewers were watching it after its air time due to timing issues?!!!! These days normal ways to measure ratings based on views at the exact air time is ignorant and outdated. Just because you don’t see the numbers in the time slot doesn’t mean that it isn’t being seen or liked. This series is a welcome addition by so many people across the age spectrum. I’ve talked to people of many… Read more »
Our family has been waiting for Believe to come back on….so disappointed to hear they cancelled it 🙁
This show was awesome and had great morals and values…something a whole family could watch.
This stinks! Missing Believe w new fall season premieres!
So sad to hear that Believe is not being renewed. It was a great show that my family and I enjoyed. Give it another shot.
I loved this show and so did my 12 year old daughter and my 75 year old mother! I am so upset they cancelled this!
Sad entertainment today is all about the numbers. This was a great family show. Hopefully you find another one as good. Quit keeping the shows with No substance and getting rid of the ones that do.
Believe was one of my favorite shows on NBC! It was family friendly had a lot of morale and character development that you just don’t get in shows anymore. NBC definitely made the wrong decision cancelling the show. I for one was really hoping to see what happens next in the second season. I think if NBC would stop investing so much money into reality television and instead focus a budget on shows like this they’d have a lot more viewers. I hope after realizing that this show has a wide fan base that has potential to grow that they’ll… Read more »
nbc messed up again. other networks change time schedules before they just cancel a show. not nbc. thanks again nbc.
Given some of the appalling offerings this season with greater numbers of themes of infidelity, useless reality tv, etc. it is a tragedy that this intriguing show which demonstrated not only Bo’s powers but the evolution of human relationships should be cancelled.
Great show my family enjoyed watching.
Better than Resurrection. Give it another shot.
East coast to West coast looking for Believe, just to find it has been cancelled. That was topic of conversation tonight, we were looking forward to more good tv entertainment.
