TV show description:
This soap opera follows a young couple as they move to Williston, North Dakota in order to seek their fortune. It’s said that a millionaire is made every day in this town that’s been booming since the discovery of a huge oil reserve.
Tycoon Hap Briggs (Don Johnson) is a typical oil drilling Barron and a force to be reckoned with. In contrast to Briggs’ self-made image is his socialite wife, Carla (Amber Valletta), who is forever jetting off to the city.
Confronted with his legacy, he is riled by his heavy drinking college dropout son, Wick (Scott Michael Foster), who’s sense of entitlement makes him an undeserving heir.
Meanwhile, Billy (Chace Crawford) and Cody LeFever (Rebecca Rittenhouse) are pursuing the American dream. They’re determined to succeed in a place that’s reminiscent of a frontier town during the gold rush — there are rowdy bars and no shortage of men easily making and parting with money.
Hap takes Billy under his wing with Billy’s drive and commitment reminding Hap of himself as a young man. Seeing someone take his place causes Wick to lose control and he embarks on a vicious campaign of hatred against those who he believes have wronged him.
Episode #10 — Departures
Christmas is a time for coming together, but for the Lefevers, it’s a time of difficult choices. Billy faces an ultimatum to either save his marriage by leaving Rock Springs forever or to stay in the oil game alone while Cody experiences temptation in the form of another man. With the Black Elks land deal slipping away, Annie and Hap consider doing the unthinkable – joining forces to help secure this once-in-a-lifetime oil acquisition. Fearing the fate of his son, AJ enlists Tip to help bring the child to safety. And finally, another father-and-son relationship is pushed to its limits when Hap and Wick finally lay it all out on the table at the Briggs Christmas Eve gathering.
First aired: December 10, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Blood & Oil TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
DON’T CANCEL
RENEW – this is a great show and if the network is in doubt, it’s only because they haven’t give it enough time. I also wonder if the network includes the number of viewers who watch the show “On Demand”, of which I’m sure there are hundreds of thousands. RENEW, RENEW, RENEW
Excellent show. One of the few I watch weekly. Do not cancel.

I love Blood and Oil, one of the best new shows. Please leave it on.
I love this show and watch it every week. I hope their contract is renewed. Don Johnson makes a perfect oil baron. I hope it runs as long as Dallas. Hoping in Canada.
Keep it on! My family loves the show! It is however on in a bad time slot (same time as the walking dead). I record one of the programs and watch the other right after.
Keep Blood & Oil.. We already lost Larry Hagman and Dallas.. Keep Blood & Oil because it’s extremely entertaining!!:)
I love Blood and Oil, don’t cancel it. Who doesn’t like Don Johnson come on Miami Vice was a great show years ago and he’s still kicking. There’s a lot of plots going on that I want to see what happens.
