After two seasons on the air, The Bonnie Hunt Show has come to a close. The daytime talk show, featuring actress and comedienne Bonnie Hunt and sidekick and executive producer Don Lake, attracted a group of very devoted viewers but unfortunately there weren’t enough of them to keep the show on the air.
Original episodes of The Bonnie Hunt Show have been airing throughout May but the last episode actually taped was broadcast on Monday, May 10th. The guests on that show are actress Holly Robinson Peete (The Apprentice) and her husband, former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete, and Brody Jenner from The Hills.
The series finale is likely to be aired again before the show goes off the air but here are some clips of the fond farewell.
I am truely sad that the Bonnie Hunt show is cancelled, she is what most of us really wnat to see on tv. I miss the good old days when shows had moral character. Bonnie you are the best! You are a classy gal!
I heartly agree. The fact that there was a Bonnie Hunt Show suprised the heck out of me. You need to put it back on the air, giving it one more year, and advertise it properly. So that people know it’s on. Everyone that has written in is RIGHT!
Another network needs to pick up the Bonnie Hunt Show. There is a huge audience out there that loves Bonnie!!! Someone please come to the rescue!!
As an avid watcher of the Bonnie Hunt show I must say how disappointed I am about the ending of a wonderful morning show. I can’t wait to start my morning with her. She is a breath of fresh air. Her shows are wonderful and relaxing for me to watch as I start my day. I will miss her very much! Please bring her back!!!!!!
We have so enjoyed Bonnie Hunt, Don, Nick…the whole gang. We are retired and have too many hours to fill. Enjoying the Summer reruns. Still hoping that someone will wake upo to the audience we represent.
Bonnie is a genuine representative of most of America. She cares about real people & real issues. I applaud her courage in stating her honest opinions and respect for God and all His living creatures! Her program was refreshing and fun. You could see that her cast & crew respected her & each other. And best of all, how could anyone NOT appreciate her closing “feel good” videos. Bonnie reminded us through her positive attitude that Life is Good. Thank you Bonnie. Hopefully you will return to TV soon, America needs a daily cup of your charm!
Helen – I totally agree with EVERYTHING you said. I have enjoyed everything Bonnie has been in. You never have to worry about anything being offensive or off-color that she has been associated with! Hopefully – some network will appreciate her talents and humor that she brings to TV and offer her another show! Until then – I will miss her, the crew and her mother’s wit!!!
I love the Bonnie Hunt show – unfortunately I just discovered it – and now it is gone! It was a refreshing change from all the talk show trash that is on TV these days. Guess my TV won’t be turned on in the mornings anymore – with Bonnie and her crew gone, there is no reason to turn it on.
Sorry about the incorrect date, the information is correct yesterday was a Thanksgiving show. How do we get this information to the producers? Help!
We like the Bonnie Hunt show and reruns are playing this summer. We need to get her back on the air. One problem, today’s rerun was taped around Halloween. She was talking and showing Halloween activities. Help get Bonnie back on the air Run prgrams that go with the seasons. June 26
I agree with everone here, especially Tim!
I CAN NOT BELEIVE YOU TOOK BONNIE HUNT SHOW OFF THE AIR.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING? SUCH GOOD ENTERTAINMENT, I TRULY GOOD SHOW, THE WHOLE FAMILY CAN WATCH.
HER CREW AND HER ARE SO GOOD TOGETHER, I LOVEIT.
I`M SO SAD IT IS GONE, I WATCH THE RERUNS EVERY DAY, I AGREE IT SHOULD BE A REPLACMENT FOR JAY LENO, I WOULD LOVE THAT..

HELEN WILLIAMS
Bonnie needs to replace Leno and then you would see some seriously big ratings.
I am shocked that Bonnie was canceled!!! I watched her every day, and enjoyed
every moment. With all the Junk on TV, why cancel such a well rounded program
that was not only enjoyable, but informative as well. I taped many of her shows to
share with my family, and I am very sad for the bad decision that was made by someone
who isn’t in touch with those of us who enjoy a really good show that is actually clean,
and still very entertaining. Shame on you, whoever you are!
I totally agree with Phil. Who makes these foolish decisions? Does anyone know what Bonnie is doing in the near future? Her whole ensemble is great. It would be a shame for them to split up.
What does it take to keep a good decent show on the air ? We have so much trash to already see on TV. It is a shame that our country has gotten so far from its orginal beliefs in God and the creation and gone to more shows based on sex, violence, and crimal activity. Lets get Bonnie back and once more have a decent show to watch!!!
It shows you how sad our society is that The Bonnie Hunt Show was cancelled. SOME people like watching TV that isn’t trashy and where the host is a genuinely nice person with a sense of family and good. Watching her show was one of the bright spots of my day. It’s disheartening to think wholesome TV doesn’t appeal to people these days.
