How’s life in Hope Valley during the fifth season of the When Calls the Heart TV show on Hallmark? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like When Calls the Heart is cancelled or renewed for season six. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we’d like to offer you the chance to rate all of the When Calls the Heart season five episodes here.
A Hallmark western family drama, When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Jack Wagner, Martin Cummins, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith. Inspired by the Janette Oke novel, the Hallmark TV series centers on Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow), a young teacher from a high society background. When she is assigned to teach in a coal country classroom, her life completely changes, particularly when she meets Royal North West Mounted Policie Constable Jack Thornton (Lissing).

I don’t understand why this was cancelled,but,you leave I Love Lucy on the air she was stupid when she first aired and worse now, programing has went down hill with old sitcoms.Hallmark was my favorite channel but has slipped to the bottom. Thanks
Not watching.. They need to cancel it. I didn’t appreciate the way they played the audience. It took forever to get them married n 2 seconds to kill him off right after the wedding! Just not into it anymore. It won’t be the same. They could have eventually brought him back in.. Once Daniel did his thing, now he’s dead n buried. Dumb to leave her prego. In my opinion, CANCEL THE SHOW!! We were all suckers in their plot!
I completely agree with the comment. And the Christmas Night WCTH special was flat and boring. Why? No Daniel Lissing. Let’s hope he is in the spin off new series. His presence will be welcome. He doesn’t have to be a Mountie, he can be a completely different character with his same qualities. Really? you couldn’t come to an agreement?
I cannot seem to generate any interest to watch Season 6. In my opinion, Daniel Lissing’s exit was poorly handled and I was very disappointed. I think to want to watch again, Hallmark would have to obtain actors with two qualities, stunningly handsome and incredible onscreen chemistry with Erin Krakow. The two actors they chose are good actors and conventionally handsome. The chemistry remains to be seen. It didn’t change my mind. I completely agree with you. I don’t even want to finish watching from where I am in the series. It’s too sad and disappointing. All the build up just for nothing! I just can’t keep watching.
