Of all of the networks, CBS has the most viewers. Unfortunately, their shows also tend to skew older. CBS tends to be the most tight-lipped of the networks so early news of renewals and cancellations doesn’t happen as often.
Here’s a listing of CBS TV shows with their current status. This list encompasses shows that have aired from July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010.
We’ll keep updating the list throughout the May upfronts when decisions are made about most of the shows’ fates. Keep checking back, especially if your favorite is still on the fence.

Cold Case – we watched for several seasons but it seemed to be going stale. Numbers – We enjoyed but it was definitely going stale. Miami Medical — We REALLY enjoyed it and are very saddened lame decisions like cancelling it are routinely made. Trama – see above. In both cases I think it’s the characters and how well the actors portray and bring them to life. Cancelling Miami Medical was an incredibly bad decision Reality tv….An incredibly LAME way to stretch advertising dollars, using people off the street as actors in some contrived ‘drama’. It is like being a… Read more »
I hope somebody makes the decision to allow MiamiMedical to continue. Its, by far, a better quality show than the bunch of other shows (dead or alive or dying on any network)
I will miss cold case and numbers can’t stand the comedies and HATE ghost whisper and medium so I think CBS did a great job.I love all the csi’s and especially criminal minds. I like all the reality shows also, so way to go CBS!!!!!
Re: Miami Medical – one of the better shows on TV. What is wrong with CBS that is can’t seem to get it right. They keep the poor shows and cancel the good ones. Maybe a change at the Top would produce a better newtwork. Who knows, it might even improve ratings and advertising dollars.
Poor executive decisions do not a winner make!
I think it is sad that Cold Case was cancelled.I loved this show and the characters. This was about real life and what actually happens. It was also well written and a little different than the other cop shows. Most of them all have the same thing happen all the time.
Enough with Reality shows…I look to TV to get away from reality! Seriously, New Adventure of Old Christine? It’s hysterical…even Gary Unmarried has its moments. Numbers, Ghost Whisperer, Cold Case and Three Rivers are all great and will be missed.
I will miss Numb3rs terribly. That was a great show! However, I am happy to see that Flashpoint is on the schedule. That’s a terrific show.
Please get rid of those trashy reality shows….they are horrible!
Numbers is the only one I will miss. And o my, will I miss it. Judd Kirsh, you are my hero. A math teacher X actor = Great. I love math also and Numbers is my Second Favorite Series after The Pretender with Michael T Weiss. Boo on the networks that canceled these two shows.
I feel you made a serious mistake on canceling ghost whisper,& numbers! you want to cancel shows why do you not cancel such as ALL REALITY SHOWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!! who cares ??????? what happened to the imagniation fictonal or nonfictional !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bring back Ghostwhisperer
A-MEN
I LOVE CRIMINAL MINDS!!! Glad to see it is returning hate to see that AJ Cook will be leaving the show as JJ. her character was believable and she is a beautiful woman.
I thing numb3rs Three rivers and Miami medical should have stayed. CSI needs a facelift or get rid of it.
We are thrilled that all the CSI shows will be back, NCIS, Flashpoint, and Medium….just to name a few. We love most of the cop shows. Ghost Whisperer we used to watch from the start, until 2 seasons ago. It got “too weird”. We lost interest. So it being cancelled makes sense.
I am tired of seeing the shows I like get canceled: The Cleaner, 24, L&O, FlashForward, Cold Case, Three Rovers, Trauma. The list goes on and on. I was extremely happy when SYFY picked up Merlin, maybe there is hope for some of the others that are getting the axe this year. It’s getting to the point where I don’t want to invest any time (or emotion) watching a series that may not make it on regular TV.
Mainstream = Lamestream. I’m giving up on NBC, ABC & CBS! Let’s start a revoltion : )
I FEEL VERY MUCH LIKE YOU DO ABOUT THE MAJOR NETWORKS!
taking off miami med and threerivers was a big mistake, they were good clean shows and i hope they don’t replace them with more reallity shows.
