Get ready for a new auto restoration series! Carspotting is a new series set to premiere next month. The series will feature brothers Carlos and Pedro. The pair will restore cars in Pacific Northwest.
Discovery Channel released a press statement detailing the new series. Check that out below.
“Nestled deep in the remote region of the Pacific Northwest are decades of preserved American muscle. Entrepreneurial brothers Carlos and Pedro, coupled with their car savant and best friend Niko, are in the business of recovering these hidden gems and re-glorifying the holy grails left for dead. Determined to make a name for themselves, the trio seek out the most sought after abandoned vehicles to turn big profits and keep their budding business afloat. The all-new series CARSPOTTING premieres on Monday, August 7 at 10pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
Young, determined, and hungry for success, Carlos and his team will hustle to hunt and flip hidden relics to their former glory. Leaving no stone unturned, they scour the mountains, forests, and farmlands of the Pacific Northwest by foot and flight – whatever it takes. Once recovered, the team returns to the shop to assess their haul and get down and dirty revitalizing the classics.
Stopping at nothing to get their hands on the hottest new projects, the scrappy team of friends and car-hunting gurus are breaking the industry mold and practices by ditching the rules of finding and flipping. But their methods are untested and it’s up to them to establish their dominance. Can the ambitious crew break out among seasoned pros, or will their blood, sweat, and tears go to waste?
CARSPOTTING is produced for Discovery Channel by Leftfield Pictures. For Leftfield Pictures, David George, Shawn Witt, and Graham Hughes are executive producers. For Discovery, Craig Coffman is executive producer and Todd Lefkowitz is producer.”

Great show I wish it would have lasted a little longer but thats what happens.
LOVE the show!!! I am online trying to find out why it wasn’t on this week and isn’t scheduled to run next week. I have the series set to record on my DVR and it shows NO future shows!! WHAT HAPPENED???
I enjoyed what I have seen so far, Great Show.
Love the show…two important facts for your success though, #1,,, I was pissed when they destroyed the Lotus in the first episode. I’m sure someone would have needed parts from it. They should have left the car were it was. At least it looked good there! I’m about automotive passion for all vehicles.
#2… Do not even joke about honesty and integrity! One of the characters joked about ‘hot-wiring’ the Pakistani bus to get it home without paying. How can anyone ‘connect’ with thieves?
We need all the shows like this we can get. I’m hoping for your success.
Paul.
Just watched my 1st episode of carspotting. I was Very disappointed and won’t be watching any others. The guys on the show purchase a 1957 Chevy pickup and call it a Gmc truck throughout the whole episode. When the truck is finished at the end, it is not the same truck that they purchased. It is a Gmc at the end of the show that is all fixed up. There are big differences in the Chevy and gmc trucks in 1957. The Chevy truck has a v shaped guage cluster and the gmc does not. The gmc has a large… Read more »

Seriously boring show…..nothing entertaining about it. Will not waste my time watching this show again.
If those clowns fly a drone over my land, that thing is getting shot down. I can NOT believe Discovery Channel is promoting this kind of personal invasion of privacy. I will never watch the show.
