Thanks to the slap we have Esposito and Ryan in the dark with Svetlana and Kates new boyfriend. How long before they find out it is front is up to the writers and Kate and Rick’s acting skills. Rick will get over it as long as Kate did not really mean to hurt him.(umm)?
The slap is insulting to fans, something so out of character. There are so many other ways to prove they are on the outs. These showrunners have no idea how to write these characters. I long for Caskett of old but i think that is a lost cause with these people at the helm.
I hope the slap in the face Kate gives Rick does not drive more of the Castle fans away. The last slap in the face the fans received at the end of episode 2 did not help the ratings at all. I guess the survey results from the fans that over 71% of us want the separation to end between episodes 9 and 11 was tone deaf from our show runners. Will really need Bowman,Miller and Marlowe back . Sure hope at the end of episode 9 Rick and Kate are still wearing there wedding rings.
