Is The Catch coming to an end for good? Recently, ABC released new details for the TV show’s upcoming season two (and possibly series) finale.
From executive producer Shonda Rhimes, the drama follows a game of cat and mouse between private investigator, Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos), and the man she loves, the elusive con artist, Benjamin Jones (Peter Krause). The cast also includes Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Rose Rollins, Sonya Walger, Elvy Yost, and John Simm.
It’s still unclear if ABC will renew The Catch for a third season, but the odds are slim. The show’s second season is really struggling in the ratings. So far, the season is averaging a .70 in the 18-49 demo and 3.419 million viewers, making it one of the network’s lowest-rated series for the 2016-2017 season.
When we asked viewers if the show should be cancelled, 75% said “No! It’s a great show.” Guess we’ll have to wait and see what ABC thinks.
The season two finale of The Catch premieres on May 11th at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Great show- But it seems they cancel the wrong shows ! They keep crap like Dancing with the Stars- Bachelor- American Idol. really???
I love the catch. I’m so freaking disappointed to hear it is cancelled! Why!? It was so good!! How can it not have great ratings!? My mom and I watched every week and we were just wondering when season 3 would start and i got online and found out it was cancelled. So freaking sad right now.
My wife and I really like & enjoy the show very much and would like it to continue. Especially since the last episode left it up in the air !

Yes!!! Another network needs to pick this up and continue with it! It’s vibrant, colorful, and it reminds me of “Hary to Hart” mixed with “The Avengers”! I think ABC is crazy for killing it!&$!? There’s so much crap that we don’t watch – THIS show was one that we looked forward to seeing each week!!!

Yes, I’m heart broken because I just saw this. This is one of the finest shows ever on TV. I watch it on Hulu. The actors/actresses are some of the finest ever. The writers are awesome and the writing is superb. The plots, plans, twist, action, etc. makes you want to look at it. Next to Designated Survivor, it is #2 on my viewing.
Just saw this show is cancelled. Very disappointed. I looked forward to it every week. Just saw the finale and thought after watching the finale how I can’t wait for the next season..

I will be so upset if it is cancelled. Not only do I watch it on regular TV, I re-watch on Hulu and purchased the seasons on Vudu! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this show!!!!
