TV show description:
A group of rogue CIA spies in the Clandestine Administration and Oversight Services (CHAOS) combats threats to national security amidst bureaucratic gridlock, rampant incompetence and political infighting. The team tackles high risk foreign intelligence missions using manipulation, deception, and wit to succeed.
Rick Martinez (Freddy Rodriguez) is upset to learn that his dream job as a spy is eliminated on his first day at work. However, CIA Deputy Director H.J. Higgins (Kurtwood Smith), a calculating mastermind and the head of CHAOS, recognizes Rick’s unique skill set and places him as an unwitting mole inside the department. Unfortunately, he’s quickly discovered by the Office of Disruptive Services (ODS) and they turn him for their own spying purposes.
Rick works under team leader Michael Dorset (Eric Close), a psychologist-turned-CIA-operative and a tactical genius who’s motivated by pure paranoia. Working under him are two unique agents. Scottish-born Billy Collins (James Murray) was de-commissioned from the British Secret Service and deported from the UK. Understated Casey Malick (Tim Blake Nelson) is a 12 year veteran of the agency with the ability to transform into a “human weapon.”
While Rick’s instincts on who he can trust are constantly tested, he may have a confidant in new Deputy Director Adele Ferrer (Christina Cole). A woman who seems to have his best interests at heart. Or, should he rely on Intelligence Officer Fay Carson (Carmen Ejogo), an alluring agent and an expert at deciphering people’s “tells?”
Attacking each assignment with unparalleled confidence and gusto, the operatives perform covert operations, exert political influence, and eradicate all manner of evil — and that’s just to make it through each morning’s staff meeting.
Episode 13 — Proof of Life
The ODS discovers that a former team member (who was presumed dead) is actually alive and being held hostage. So, they embark on a rogue mission to Panama to rescue him, knowing that they might not make it home.
First aired: July 16, 2011.

13 Episodes??? Are they counting the online ones? I remember when Chaos was on. There were only 3 episodesand then it disappeared into oblivion. A few months later, I noticed a number of newer episodes online, but as far as I can tell these were never aired [as they did not record.]
The network execs should reconsider this one!
This is hard to believe!! I love this show!!!!!
I loved this show! Now that it’s been cancelled looking for it on dvd. Anybody heard if or when?
I give up -another great show with wit and intelligence cancelled. Why should we even support these TV stations when they keep cancelling good shows. Is not 6 million viewers enough to market your wares to ?? I use my DVR now completely and do not watch live TV – where did this debate end?? Are the networks capturing the audience that uses DVRS?
SAD and disappointed again. Six shows minimum that I watch have been killed recently.
So dissapointing, was a show with great potential.
