NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

i really liked the show the acting seemed real to me. i like a good drama.

I love the show chase!! why do you need to air the same show for two hours??? Bring back Chase!!! Its so frustrating when a new show comes on, you watch it, love it, and then its taken away!!! no wonder ratings are so low during the first season, what is the likelihood it will make it to season 2?

Why was Chase my favorite tv show cancelled? Instead you give us some crap of show called Minute to Win it. You cancel all the good shows and replace them with crap.
Bring Chase back! Show it on a different day at a different time. Leave the reality shows for cable network. Come on NBC your suppose to be smarter then this!

I keep checking my guide to see if Chase is going to be on and keep seeing minute to win it. I don’t understand why that horrible game show could be getting better ratings. Actually I can, because so many people are lazy and would rather watch mindless garbage then something with an actual story to that you have to pay attention to, to understand it and keep up. Are you kidding me?? In my opininion, Chase was one of the best prime time dramas to come along since Law and Order..SVU. I loved the episodes and the actors involved in the short lived series. NBC..come on, there was a time that you were the only channel I would watch. Now you care more about numbers than what people actually think. Put it back on Monday nights and leave well enough alone.
Chase was one of the greatest police’s show that I have seen in along time. Very exciting.
Please bring the show back.

Not surprised the show was cancelled. Although I enjoyed it , I found the acting to be lacking and way too many inconsistencies in the backgrounds that were “supposed” to b Houston that clearly were not. Additionally the show was very predictable. You. Knew what was coming before it happened.
This is the one show i looked forward to watching every week reality shows are awful please bring Chase back
