The network giveth and the network taketh away.
Even though the Chase series performed poorly right from the start, NBC gave the TV show a full season order of 22 episodes. Now, the peacock network has trimmed back that order to just 18 installments.
On the positive side, NBC is moving Chase out of the Mondays at 10pm timeslot. It’ll no longer have to battle against Castle and the new Hawaii Five-0. Unfortunately, beginning January 12th, it’ll be airing in a far more competitive timeslot. Chase is moving to Wednesdays at 9pm where it’ll do battle with American Idol.
The most recent episode of Chase garnered a 1.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.03 million total viewers. That’s the second significant increase in two weeks but the series is still doing terribly and is consistently in a distant third place for the timeslot.
Chase has averaged a 1.6 rating for the season, just slightly better than now-cancelled Undercovers. Unless there’s a significant turnaround, it’s pretty clear that Chase will be cancelled at the end of the season.

you got to be serious chase is one of the good shows and they are getting rid of it really.. they need to bring it back and knight rider and truma please thoese shows are the best ever
This was a very well-done show and I’m very surprised that it was canceled. I really would like to see this show brought back to life. It just needs a great time slot to bring in the viewers. Once people watch the show it’s easy to become drawn in and become attached to the characters. Please give this show another chance!!

I think there are so many worse shows that are still on and that are competing with Chase. I think Chase is a great show. Why doesn’t enough people think this? Please give it another chance.

We enjoy this program very much! There are so many other programs on the air that are so poorly done. Please bring this one back and get rid of some of the other lousy shows airing. I really wonder at the junk some watchers think are quality programming.
Chase was a great show!!!!! American Idol is too many nights too long and way too much crap no one cares about! Other than my co-workers no one else i know watches that show. Um in case anyone hasnt noticed they all fail after the show except Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. As for Hawaii 5 o Its called DVR!!!!! I watch that show too! RECORD IT! Chase is a great show and we miss it!! PLEASE bring it back and get rid of some of the crap shows that are on. Chase is one of our favorite shows and we are very disappointed that y0u have taken it off the air.
My husband and myself love Chase. Have you ever thought of putting it on at a different time? There’s alot of stupid shows on that should be off.Not Chase!

Chase is a great show. I was hooked from the first episode and craving more and to find out that NBC has suspended it and might not even show the last episodes that is f***** up. I hope if the idiots at NBC cancel it the FX network picks it up because they obviously know what a great show is hell put it on before or after justified I’ll be in seventh heaven.
