What’s This TV Show About?
A Hallmark Canadian-American drama, the Chesapeake Shores stars Meghan Ory, Jesse Metcalfe, Treat Williams, Diane Ladd, Laci J. Mailey, Emilie Ullerup, Brendan Penny, Andrew Francis, Kayden Magnuson, Abbie Magnuson, Greyston Holt, Carlo Marks, Jessica Sipos, Lanie McAuley, and Barbara Niven. The story centers on career woman Abby O’Brien (Ory), a divorced mother of two young daughters who leaves New York for her hometown of Chesapeake Shores, Maryland, where her first love Trace (Metcalfe) lives.

Telly’s Take
Will Hallmark cancel or renew Chesapeake Shores for season five? There were only six episodes this year but the show remained a pretty good performer for the channel. Based on the numbers, I think it will be renewed but am unsure why there were so few episodes. Could this be an indication that Hallmark is going to end the show or, that it’s an expensive program to produce? I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Chesapeake Shores is one of my favorite series!! It needs to at least have some closure!! Don’t just leave us hanging like you do in so many of your series. This is why I don’t like to get involved in any of your series. Looking forward to seeing Chesapeake Shores again PLEASE!

Please make Trace and Abby get back together soon! And make it a dramatic getting back – with a big dose of passion and romance. They need to put in more feeling. But please get that blonde singer-barmaid out of the picture. She’s such a sore thumb and totally a piece of unnecessary furniture – inane is the word! The script writer seems to have lot his/her way!
It’s pure escapism I’ve binged watched the series I love the location the characters please bring it back !!!
We would like to see the series continue and I can see room for several more episodes! We wonder if this pandemic has delayed the filming…
