NBC has had a lot of success with Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise these past few years. But what about the newest spin-off, Chicago Justice? Are you watching the TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed? If renewed, would you watch season two?
The legal drama centers on Peter Stone (Philip Winchester), the dogged Deputy Chief of the Special Prosecutions Bureau, and follows the other prosecutors and investigators who make up the State’s Attorney’s team. The cast also includes Carl Weathers, Monica Barbaro, Joelle Carter, and Jon Seda.
Ratings haven’t been terrible for Chicago Justice, but they haven’t been great either. Overall, season one earned an average rating of 1.13 in the 18-49 demo and 6.20 million viewers. The numbers are decent for NBC, but they do make Chicago Justice the lowest-rated series in the Chicago franchise.
Still, chances are NBC will renew the show because the Chicago shows are successful as a whole brand.

I really liked chicago Justice and hope they continue this show with all the other Chicago shows. They are some of the best shows out there in my opinion!!
Absolutely!! I like it also! I had to watch it on Hulu because it came on when I had something already scheduled, but it was good!

I really love crime shows showing how the police can work things, and also court room cases showing how the prosecution and the defenc=se figure out ways to convict or find innocent. Come back Perry Mason. 🙂
