What’s This TV Show About?
On Too Close to Home, a small town woman moves to Washington DC to start a new life and join the political scene. Following a major scandal, she retreats to the community and family that she’d been hoping to leave behind. The regular TLC TV series cast includes Danielle Savre, Kelly Sullivan, Brock O’Hurn, Brad Benedict, and Brooke Anne Smith. Courtney Burrell, Azur-De, Nelson Estevez, Angela Rigsby, James Shanklin, KD Aubert, and Crystle Stewart recur. Heather Locklear returns as a guest star.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Too Close to Home averaged a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.08 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s up by 62% in the demo and up by 52% in viewers.
As of December 19, 2017, Too Close to Home has been cancelled by TLC.

Telly’s Take
The first season of Tyler Perry’s Too Close to Home TV show averaged a 0.19 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 713,000 viewers and yet TLC ordered a second season. Since the current season two ratings averages are way up in both measures, it seems highly unlikely TLC will cancel this scripted drama series. Too Close to Home should be renewed for a third season on TLC. Of course, if the ratings plummet, I reserve the right to change my mind.
12/19 update: Despite a sizable increase in the ratings during season two, Too Close to Home has been cancelled by TLC, with no fanfare. Details here.

How much longer do we all have to wait for the third season of To Close To Home?? Seems that the comments from the viewers say a lot!! We would all like to know what is going to happen next on Too Close to Home!! Tyler Perry is a genius, and has brought television to a whole new level of enjoyment in the recent years!! Thank You Tyler Perry!!! TLC, bring us season three!! Thank you!!
I hope that ” Too Close to Home” is renewed for season three. Enjoyed the storyline for Brody and his family. Anybody that has ever lived in a trailer court knows that it’s not easy everybody knows your business. I really enjoy how this story has unfolded and shows how each person intertwines with another leading to great mystery, on the edge of the seat waiting for the next scene to happen.
Love this show and I hope they come out with season 3 real soon!!!

Im seriously upset I have seen other stupid boring TV shows get renewed but they don’t wanna go with “To Close To Home” get a life it was a good TV series! I watch THAHN and it’s just as good
