NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.
What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?
Oh no. I can’ t believe cancelling for nothing. It’s one of the best tv series ever
I am very upset that it was cancelled. I thought it was a great show.
This is a bad idea.
Stop canceling all the good shows. I really hate NBC now!
I love this show! I hope they at least air the last of the 13 episodes. I wish they would reconsider I think it is a great show……..I hope the cancellation is not because of some political view.
Very disappointed, great show, was in competition from other channels, you left everyone hanging, at least a second season could have made an ending.
Just show the death of the kidnapper and free the kids. Thats all it takes.
I too am very disappointed that Crisis will be cancelled! It is a different show and the acting is very good. Please bring it back!!
My office is devistated this show is over and we didnt see the ending. We all talked about it the day after. We feel it wansnt advertised enough. Most of us started watching at the second episode after a co- worker watched.
Please give it another chance. We had to make our own ending and Im sure its not as good as the writers of the show. its a bit wierd!!!!
I am very disappointed that Crisis was cancelled. It was a very good series and I looked forward to seeing it every Sunday night. Shame on your NBC.
What is wrong with the powers that be at NBC? I love watching both “Crisis” and “Believe”: both shows show imagination, which NBC doesn’t seem to like. I hope that we get to see more of both shows. I am still angry over NBC getting rid of Jay Leno and have not watched them late at night since. There are plenty of things to watch TV other than NBC and NBC keeps giving me reasons not to watch their network.
I CANNOT BELIEVE HIS SHOW IS CANCELLED! THIS IS THE SECOND SHOW I LOVED THAT NBC CANCELLED! I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO JUST LEAVE NBC ALONE!
I am boycotting NBC…they have cancelled too many new shows this season…….Crisis being one of them! Typical of NBC! Done watching this Network!
I hate to see this show end. Please give this show a chance to finish the first season and give us closure . as a previous comment said “DO WHATS RIGHT BY AIRING THE REST OF THE SEASON PLEASE”.
Clearly “Crisis” was going to run out of ideas or kidnapped kids but I think NBC owed it to those of us who watched the shows to date to present a “Finale” that tied up as many loose ends as possible!
