TV show description:
This historical fantasy TV show follow the adventures of a young Leonardo Da Vinci (Tom Riley) during Italy’s Renaissance period. Drawing on true historical events and many of Leonardo’s inventions, this dramatic series touches on subjects which are as relevant now as they were in the time of Da Vinci; love, equality and sexuality.
Eccentric and charismatic, the master painter and inventor struggles to deal with his own inner demons and longs for acceptance from his father (David Schofiled) as political and religious turmoil engulf 15th century Florence.
Da Vinci’s own sense of morality and justice is a stark contrast to those of the Catholic Church and the powerful families vying for control of one of Europe’s most prosperous cities.
Contracted by Lorenzo Medici (Elliot Cowan) to create an Easter spectacle, his inventions are increasingly seen as objects of war. As his unparalleled genius and quest for knowledge take over, he begins a passionate affair with Lorenzo’s wife, the beautiful Lucrezia (Laura Haddock).
Then, a chance meeting with a mysterious Turk brings back memories of his missing mother and draws him to the mysterious cult the Sons of Mithras and their search for the Book of Leaves.
Episode #28 — Ira Deorum
Following the Ottoman army’s ambush on Crusage forces, Leo must put his faith in his friends and in himself if they’re to have a chance to defeat the Turks.
First aired: December 26, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Da Vinci’s Demons TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
Follows the rule: If it’s good, they discontinue it.
Should be continued given it’s values and high quality cinematography
please bring it back, love it.
Please bring this show back it was one of the best shows I’ve watched !
Please bring it back for another season. This is one of the best tv show that I’ve ever seen!
i love it…why is it cancelle…bring it back…waiting for season4…make it a movie
Bring it back for another season.
Where can I find season 3? Where can I find STARZ? Found season 1 and 2 on Rogers’ Shomi. Is it on DVD. Excellent historical fiction fantasy. Why must it be so obscure?
Starz is a cable/satellite package like HBO is.
But I see you post is from the end of 2016, So i Hope you have found or seen it by now.
But you will find that there’s no season 4 which is upsetting to say the least.
Please bring it back there is so much more to be revealed. I am deviated that it was cancelled
I hope you mean “devastated”. Just sayin’
This was the best show on TV. I miss it. I cancelled my subscription to Starz when the show was cancelled. The chemistry between Blake Ritson as Riario and Tom Riley as Leo was amazing! There was a mistake in the article. Leo had an affair with Lorenzo’s mistress (Lucrezia),not Lorenzo’s wife (Clarice).
This show was AMAZING. Start is foolish to have terminated the show. I’m very disappointed
We enjoyed the show so much. The actors were great, the settings amazing, the costumes were so eye catching and we loved the intricate story lines. So very sorry to find it cancelled about the time we had just discovered it. Drat!
I would have loved to see the next season, and am sorry about the decision to cancel it. My husband and I really liked it. Sometimes we had to watch it more than once to understand parts of an episode, but we are certainly game for more!
i could not believe they cancled this show i loved it it was a great show and could have carried on such a shame to see it end the way it did and i agree 100% with you anita it in how it was left and the ending
The finale show could have better without killing off Da Vinci;s love interest. It just left in some ways alot of unanswered questions. I just wish it was still on with season 4. To show how he painted his most famous Painting the Mon a Lisa.
