Although its ratings have declined over the years, it was unlikely the Dancing with the Stars TV show would be would be cancelled after season 23 aired last fall, because it remained a strong performer for ABC. The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

What do you think? Do you still like the Dancing with the Stars TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled instead of renewed for a 25th season for the fall?
5/11 update: ABC has renewed Dancing with the Stars through season 26 (Spring 2018). Details here.
My favorite show of all time. But my heart is broken because they are showing a football game in the time slot that Dancing With The Stars is on. How can I vote if I miss the show?
DWTS has a winning formula that keeps it #1 in overall viewership. This season they added David Ross, 2 time World Series, BASEBALL star; bringing a new fan base into the mix.
Word is out, DWTS, is a commitment that could kick start, re-invigorate or expand one’s career…and definitely is a great way to get disciplined and in shape…don’t think casting will have issues getting celebrities to commit to joining future casts, anytime soon.
My DWTS next season 25 dream cast:
Males:
1. Jake Miller with Jenna Johnson
2. Victor Cruz with Witney Carson
3. Jordan Knight with Lindsay Arnold
4. Trevor Jackson with Allison Holker
Females:
1. Camila Cabello with Alan Bersten
2. Sabrina Carpenter with Mark Ballas
3. Dakota Fanning with Keo Motsepe
4. Shay Mitchell with Val Chmerkovskiy
The show is getting old! The stars are now somewhat unknown or on their last legs (no pun intended)
Don’t care for Erin either. Time for a change!
While respecting your opinion, I gotta stick up for Erin. I think she is one of the best MC’s/Commentators out there. Tough I do see that after lots of years, its easy to get sick of show hosts. I got so burndt out on Ryan Seacrest during American Idol & definitely had enough of Cat Deely on SYTYCD. I will never get sick of Carson Daly however…I think he is the best.
DWTS still holds the #1 slot on my DVR. I’ll be watching as long as they keep it going. Surprisingly, the recent seasons have been some of the best and I’ve watched them all.
