Celebrities covered include has-been Holt McLaren (Josh Stewart) and “America’s Sweetheart” Julia Mallory (Laura Allen).
Episode 20 – In Lieu of Flowers
Life-and-death circumstances compel Lucy (Courteney Cox Arquette) to examine her relationships. Publisher Brett (Jeffrey Nordling) is found dead after passing out in his new car with the motor running. Later, Leo (Will McCormack) tells Lucy that their selfish mother (Mary Anne McGarry) has died after one too many plastic surgery operations. The siblings decide to go after the doctor who is, at least partially, responsible for her death.
Farber (Ryan Eggold) feels betrayed when the Willa (Alexandra Breckenridge) uses their relationship to get dirt on his friend (a gay, former child star) who wants to keep his arrest for oral sex out of the press.
Meanwhile, Don (Ian Hart) is assigned to stalk Perri Tatum (Nancy Cassaro), a weight-loss expert who has suddenly regained her weight. He also ends up saving the infant daughter of Sharlee Cates (Ashley Johnson) in a runaway SVR.
Adam (Julian Acosta) finds Brett’s extensive porno tape collection of his conquests and Holt (Josh Stewart) confronts Lucy and demands either a full commitment or an end to their relationship.
First aired: April 13, 2008.
There’s been no news about any revivals or reunions.
