Last week, NBC pulled and cancelled Do No Harm after just low-rated two episodes had aired. There’s still no word on when or if the peacock network will release the remaining 10 installments but we do have the descriptions of the third and fourth episodes.
Here’s a tease of what you would have seen tonight and next Thursday night.
“ME LIKEY”
02/14/2013 (10:01PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : Jason (Steven Pasquale) agrees to grant Ian (also Steven Pasquale) his wish – a rendezvous with the object of his desire, Olivia (Ruta Gedmintas). But it comes with a catch: Ian must pose as Jason at a black-tie event honoring Dr. Vanessa Young (Phylicia Rashad). Ian’s antics threaten to ruin the night, pushing Lena (Alana De La Garza) into the arms of another man, and putting Young’s daughter Abby (guest star Jurnee Smollett) in mortal danger. But Jason stays true to his word, and Olivia later greets Ian in a hotel room — with a dangerous ulterior motive.
“A STAND-IN”
02/21/2013 (10:01PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : Ian (Steven Pasquale) falls for a woman in D.I.D. therapy, but when Jason (also Steven Pasquale) suspects she has a life-threatening condition, he races to cure her – a cure that may mean she no longer loves Ian. When Dr. Jordan (Michael Esper) alerts Dr. Young (Phylicia Rashad) that someone tampered with her daughter’s chart, all signs point to Jason. Lena (Alana De La Garza) is ready to move on from Jason with a new boyfriend, but is Jason willing to let her go?
What do you think? Do you like the sound of these episodes? Would you have watched? Are you hoping that NBC releases the entire series?
Love the concept of Do No Harm. ..keep the episodes coming and release on dvd for Australia. Jacki fom Canberra Australia
I love this show for what it is and I am always playing back the episodes just to get more of it. Jason/Ian are brilliantly played out by Steven to a show us all that this programme needs more time. Yes, I think that we are seeing the best episodes now, but I am sure certain script writers could be brought in and the show is already jumping around which makes you want to watch more than giving up on it. Thank god for Watch in the UK and shame on you NBC for not giving Do No Harm a… Read more »
I am so disappointed that this show was cancelled! After the first episode it was already my new favorite show. Can they at least release season 1 on DVD!!!!! I’d buy it!!
I am very upset that they have cancelled this show my family and I really liked this show. I would have watched these and the following episodes because when I begin a season, I usually finish watching it.
Very disappointing…. Why start something you don’t intend to finish? The first two episodes were very intriguing .
I’m kinda disappointed about the cancellation too. Now I have nothing to watch in its place! I thought this was a neat idea, something different which gave the writers a lot of options to spin the series. Though I don’t know how long I would have stuck with it, the whole Lena thing was getting old REAL fast, I feel like all Jason had to do was come clean to her and explain why he turned psychological on her,, I mean, she’s a flipping neurologist! I cant imagine her NOT understanding, or offering help to him. That would solve half… Read more »
I’m really disappointed that the show was cancelled-I suspected as much. I thought the writing was great & Steven was great as both characters. NBC reacted too quickley.
I agree. NBC should air and properly promote this show during the summer and advertise it! I saw the first episode as I was changing channels. Turns out I liked it and saw the second (which I also liked). To my dismay, NBC canceled it! If the ratings were poor is because NBC did a terrible job advertising it. Please NBC do us the favor of airing the rest of the episodes during the summer.
Interested to see how the story plays out….at least beyond 2 episodes. Picked up by any other station?
I watched the first two episodes and really liked it. I l was lookingforward to seeing more of t
This show..nbc did not give this show much of a chance to establish a fan base.shame on them
Not happy. We recorded this show to watch, and I really liked it. All the good shows are vanishing and being replaced by dumb ones. This was a great show, and I liked it. It’s not a “reality” show, nor talk show, nor a ridiculous comedy. What ever happened to the really good shows like ‘Friends, ‘ ‘ER,’ etc. The Big Bang Theory,’ ‘The Neighbor’s,” and other shows similar to those are the types of comedies I like to watch. The show, “The Middle,” is down right ridiculous. (Pretty much some of the other line up on there too.) “Do… Read more »
Geez… Two episodes? That’s not giving it much of a chance. Give it some promo and try again!!!
Bring this back this summer – maybe advertise it better. You would have grown the audience you need because it was JUST spreading by word-of-mouth (because not many people actually saw it on TV and the advertising wasn’t done well and didn’t show more than “Watch ‘Do No Harm’ on NBC Thursdays at 10” with a photo of Jason/Ian). This show is different from most others on TV right now. It has the “hospital/medical” aspect to draw in viewers who enjoy shows like Grey’s Anatomy, crime to draw in viewers who watch CSI, and the party aspect to draw in… Read more »
