Though Disney Channel hasn’t made any official announcement, it appears that their family sitcom Dog with a Blog is ending with season three. Members of the cast are feeling pretty emotional about wrapping up filming.
On Tuesday, co-star Beth Littleford tweeted the above photo and wrote, “#DWAB final scene on the final day of shooting #SingleTear (actually #OpenMouthedSobbing).” The tweet has since been deleted.
On Instagram, co-star Genevieve Hannelius posted photos and wrote, “Dog With a Blog season 3 wrap party. They are some of my best friends and working with people you love is so special and wonderful. I feel so grateful. Thank you to our dedicated and supportive DWAB fans- I hope we made you all proud. I’m excited for you all to see the rest of season 3! new episode this Friday!!
On the Twitter account for Mick (who plays the show’s title character) a message reads “WHAT! It’s our last day!!! #DWAB #stan”. On Stan the dog’s Instagram account, this photo was posted and titled simply “Goodbye Dog with a Blog.”
There is a positive side for fans of Dog with a Blog however. All indications are that there are many new episodes on the way and they will be airing well into 2015. Season two had 24 episodes.

I totally agree with you that Dog with a Blog should be renewed for a Season 4. It shouldn’t have gotten cancelled suddenly like the way it had. And this show definitely was a family show. I admit that I’m a young a adult and still watch other Disney Channel shows, but some of those shows were more kid-based which I don’t mind. But Dog with a Blog was definitely one of the more family-based shows I’ve seen. I loved it too so I’m surprised it got cancelled the way it had. They should keep the show
I definitely think that there should be a season 4 there is so many things to know about Stan aka Mick,Princess and the pups.
@Peter, I get you like the show, actually, WE ALL KNOW, but please stop sending messages, I am asking in the nicest way for ME possible and just so you know, they also have the authority to cancel the show because they made it. I think that if YOU made a show, it would probably never end, so please be quiet: Dog with a Blog should stick with a 4th season. GO DOGS!

Please don’t cancel my families favorite show. We can rarely find something we all like & can watch together. DWAB fits the bill. Best show ever! We’d like to at least see Avery & maybe Chloe go away to college before it ends.
Okay people Dog with a blog was my favorite show and now I cried after this cause I have been waiting a season 4 thinking it was coming like u really didn’t even make a finale you with a regular episode this really made me sad thanks for crushing me I loved this show with all my heart❤️❤️❤️❤️
I don’t understand why all the good shows on Disney are going off. Dog with a Blog and Austin and Ally. I hope an executive from Disney is actually reading these comments. They are taking off all the good family shows.
