It was an underwhelming start for the new reality series. It tied with a repeat of The Middle on ABC for second place. If it dips in week two (as most new shows do), it’ll likely drop to third or fourth place. This premiere was less than half of what CBS saw from last summer’s Big Brother return.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Dogs in the City TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Terrific show and very helpful to all the dogs who have well-meaning but uninformed owners. So many of us mean well but don’t know how to train our beloved pets! Keep the show, pleezze!!!
Love the show. Was very disappointed that the season was so short. I got together every Wednesday with my sister to watch Dogs in the city. One of the best shows on Tv. Get rid of Big brother and bring back Justin and the dogs. 🙁
I love this show! please bring it back!!!!
Renew! The show is informative. It is nice to see how positive training works.

Great show! Keep it!
EXCELLENT & VERY NEEDED SHOW!!!! The information on the show is EXCELLENT, delivered in a very entertaining format. Four – Five MILLION dogs and cats are put to death at “shelters” across the U.S. EVERY YEAR. MILLIONS of dogs get put down because their owners… Read more »
