The angels have fallen. After two seasons, SyFy has canceled their supernatural drama Dominion, according to Variety.
Based on the 2010 film Legion, the series centered around a world where God’s gone and angels and humans battle for good and evil. The show debuted in 2014 and its second season concluded on October 1, 2015.
During its first season, Dominion became the most-viewed scripted series on SyFy, with an average 1.6 million viewers. However, even with strong numbers for the season opener, the ratings for season two declined steadily over the course of 13 episodes.

Make a third season this is by far one of the best tv show made from syfi
My son and I just binged watched the two seasons and we fell in love with it. We didn’t know that there wasn’t an ending! Please make a third season or something because we are wanting more!
I am surprised, the story was developing into a great show. Should do a season 3 to closeout the story. With Lucifer being introduced it was going to bring many back as well as new views. Need to bring it back…

Maybe they can make a movie to wrap up the series. Legion, the movie, was the preview, dominion the series, and then add another movie to tie it all together. I was super excited to find this series, after watching the movie, and searching for a sequel. Too bad they always cancel the good stuff.

Excellent series. I do not believe the reasons for it’s cancellation are valid. And, I certainly do not believe the show lost enough of it’s viewing audience to warrant a cancellation. The decision to cancel season 3 of Dominion has upset many, many viewers; and may have even ticked – off the Pope. Please consider replacing those who call the shots regarding “stay” or ‘cancel’ decisions for your network shows. I believe that department needs some ‘new blood’.
Please reconsider your decision for the ‘Dominion’ series.

My name is cyndi and i am 13 years old.It took me 2 days to watch the second season of DOMINION. When i started to watch the very first episode of it i was in love.Now my heart is broken because syfy decided to cancel the one show i actually liked.i really hope that they decide to start it up again and make a season 3.That would really make my day.
The finale of Season two left too many unfinished story lines and questions for viewers. It’s crazy if they don’t show a third season. VERY disappointed.
I just finished binge watching the first and second season of dominion and it’s a GREAT show! There’s nothing else like it on tv on anyoth channel and from everything I have read the show has tons of fans. I feel like Syfy does this all the time. The air an amazing show and just when it starts to get good they cancel it. I wonder if enough people wrote to netflix or hulu if either of those would pick it up for a season or more?
