TV show description:
June (Dreama Walker), a wide-eyed girl from Indiana, moves to New York City for her dream job — working at the Buchwald Mortgage Company and living in a big company-funded apartment. Soon after she arrives, June discovers that the company is being shut down because the owner’s been arrested for scamming. June’s job no longer exists, she’s deep in debt and is out on the streets.
It seems that June’s luck has turned when she gets hired at a coffee shop and finds Chloe (Krysten Ritter), a charming and vivacious roommate. June soon learns that Chloe is also a con-artist who swindles her out of all her savings. After June ingeniously turns the tables and scams Chloe right back, the party girl comes to respect June and pulls her roommie into her colorful band of friends. The two girls form an unlikely friendship that leads them both to unexpected, and often illegal, experiences.
Chloe’s good friend is snarky and self-absorbed actor James Van Der Beek (James Van Der Beek), the former star of Dawson’s Creek. His personal assistant is Luther (Ray Ford), a man whose job it is to make James appear to be the best possible version of himself.
Robin (Liza Lapira), is Chloe’s former roommate who lives down the hall from apartment 23. She’s obsessed with Chloe, wants to get back into her life, and spends her days working as an ER Nurse.
Eli (Michael Blaiklock) is a health inspector and a peeping-tom next-door neighbor who spies on the girls. From his window seat, he provides sage and vaguely erotic advice on the goings-on in the girls’ apartment. He’s also a certified blacksmith but no one knows exactly what he does with those skills.
Mark Reynolds (Eric Andre), who would have been June’s supervisor at the mortgage company, now works as her manager at the It’s Just Beans! coffee shop.
Episode #26 — Original Bitch…
Ten years before June moved to New York, Chloe moved into Apartment 23 and met her new roommate, Trish… the original “bitch.” After taking Chloe under her wing and teaching her everything she knew about bitch-itude, Trish betrayed Chloe and disappeared.
Now, thanks to the services of a private investigator, Chloe’s got a lead on Trish and, with June in tow, sets off to exact her long-awaited revenge.
Meanwhile, James learns his father isn’t his real father. Richard Dean Anderson (MacGyver) and famed Latin singer and actress Charo appear as themselves.
First aired: released online May 17, 2013
What do you think? Do you like the Don’t Trust the B TV series? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for another season?

Amazing show. ABC never advertised it. Didn’t hear about until Netflix. I hope some miracle happens and Netflix starts it again. Soooo disappointed. How do you let a show like that slip through the cracks? Everything else is recycling, including Heros. Why not try this one again?
What !! There are eight unaired episodes !?!? That is a crime! This was the most hysterical show I’ve watched in years. Find those episodes and at the very least let netflix have them.
I know its been a while, just found the show on netflix and I am SO sad its no longer on the air. This is the reason I dont watch regular tv, always with the disappointments and changing.
Apartment 23 was smart, fun, sexy, and edgy. I loved it and always looked foward to it. Such smart writing~ completly diferent then everything else on t.v. At least talk to TBS about picking it up becuse it’s a sure fire hit. Or simply listen to the fans and bring it back. they brought back family guy a million times and look at it now~ dont let a good thing go.
I liked this show a lot. Glad the Already Been Canceled network put the rest online for us.
Can’t believe a well written (and actually funny) and well acted show like this was cancelled. The execs at ABC are idiots. But in their defense, the execs at all the big networks are idiots!
LOVE IT. i can’t believe such great show like this had been cancelled. boo you abc! everyone miss the *****!
LOVE the show. It’s the funniest show on tv. So witty and smart, but fun. I wish there were more episodes.
Title WAS terrible! Showwas stupid!
Hate it.
This show is amazing, I just started watching this season but got caught up super fast ! The caddyness of the main group is hilarious!!! Get kn Facebook to the save dttbia23, and like that site !!
I love this show. I hope somebody picks it up!
Come on ABC DTTBIA23 is hilarious. Please reconsider. The plot is great, the actors better & the characters are the best. In this day & age we need to not only be shocked by nedativity but by comedy as well. Take another look please or @ very least show the remainning episodes tht haven’t been aired. Neighbors turned out to be a hit & I know this one can be too. Please please reconsider.
Sorry I meant “negativity” not “nedativity”. Everyone makes mistakes…just as ABC did w/this cancellation. I corrected mine, now it’s your turn. BRING IT BACK PLEASE!
just started watching Don’t trust the B in Apt 23 and i love it.
