MTV has ordered 12 episodes of a new coming-of-age drama series from Sex and the City executive producer Terri Minsky — Finding Carter.
The show follows a teenage girl named Carter (Kathryn Prescott) who, after being busted at a high school party, learns that her fun-loving single mother — Lori (Milena Govich) — abducted her as a toddler. Now, she must return to her birth family. As she tries to adjust to life with her birth parents (Alexis Denisof and Cynthia Watros) and twin sister (Anna Jacoby-Heron), she decides to find the mother she knew growing up.
Meredith Baxter and Robert Pine will have recuring roles as the girls’ grandparents.
What do you think? Does this show sound interesting? Will you check out Finding Carter?
I most definitely am interested in this suspenseful thriller! I think Cynthia is amazing and with her previous works I think this will show a side she has yet to reveal!!!!
I’m excited!!!
