“I’m finally free.” The CW previewed season three of The Flash at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

The DC series stars Grant Gustin as a young scientist who develops special powers after being struck by lightning. The cast also includes Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, and Keiynan Lonsdale.

As the teaser revealed, season three of The Flash will take place in an alternate realty where Barry Allen’s (Gustin) parents are still alive. The new reality, called Flashpoint, will also features a new villain, Dr. Alchemy (Tobin Bell), and new speedster, Kid Flash (Lonsdale).

Season three of The Flash premieres on October 4th.
