The Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot has been a big ratings problem for ABC for quite awhile. Show after show has been cancelled. Will their new Forever series change that trend? Will it be renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On the Forever TV show, New York City’s star medical examiner is Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd). He can ascertain things that most can not because of his vast experience — he’s been alive for 200 years but can’t figure out how or why. The rest of the cast includes Alana de la Garza, Lorraine Toussaint, Donnie Keshawarz, Joel David Moore, and Judd Hirsch.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/8 update: ABC has cancelled Forever after one season. Details here.
Final season averages: 1.12 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.93 million total viewers.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Forever TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Keep FOREVER going!! Better than Elementary and Doc’s sidekick Lucas, is awesome!!
Renew, please!!
Ok.. Is it canceled??! I can’t find anything past the episode “Social Engineering”.
We would choose to cancel cable right now… Lol but we are saving almost 180.00 per mo now. Love Netfliz and Hulu!
This is a GREAT Show!!
Give it a Chance!
Love the story line and positives that you just do not see much!
I hope there is a second season!!! I look forward to this show each week. It is a very clever show.
Don’t fcancel it, you fjerks.
Best show on TV these days. Blows away elementry. Shows are well written and thoughtful . I really like the mix of flashbacks from the past with the current plot line.
Forever is a great show. Please keep it running. Seinfeld was on for 5 year before I discovered it. It turned out to be one of the best shows ever!!
Forever is very clever and helps people get out of day to day reality. It is fun!! Give it time!!!
as soon as a show has something DIFFERENT or CREATIVE they threaten to cancel it!!!
this is a really great show ! it SHOULD NOT be cancelled and given a new life for a new slot on the network. The time slot is the problem NOT THE SHOW!!! Give us a break and keep this one on!!!
Are all these great supportive messages being sent to ABC?
DON’T CANCEL! This is a great show! This is an intelligently written show. Why do shows (I won’t mention any names — “Surviving Jack” ring a bell?) that are well written and have an intelligent message cancelled? Are people just too stupid to get them? Please don’t make the rest of a suffer just because of the masses!
Great show, it would be a shame if it is not renewed.
Love the show really hope we get to see a season 2
I love it. I hope it is not cancelled.
Love this show. Sorry that it is on so late. If I can’t watch it then, I try to see it online.
Love the actors, the story line, and yes, it should definitely be renewed. Love all the ABC shows as KT above does too. Keeping fingers crossed in Ohio for another season.
I know that I personally watch this on Hulu every week. Ratings from watching the show on the night it airs should be rendered pointless at this time. This is a great show and should definitely be renewed. As an avid fan of abc shows (Greys, scandal, revenge, how to get away with murder, once upon a time) this has become one of my favorites. If this show gets canceled it would be a shame.
