TV show description:
A fantasy crime drama, this TV series follows New York City’s star medical examiner — Doctor Henry Morgan (Ioan Gruffudd), handsome man with a secret past. No matter how hard he tries, Henry can’t age even a single day — he’s immortal. He doesn’t know much about what happens when he “dies” except that everything on him disappears and he reemerges in a body of water, naked.
Henry doesn’t just study the dead to solve criminal cases however. He does it to try to solve the mystery that has eluded him for 200 years — the reason for his own inexplicable immortality.
Henry’s long life has given him remarkable observation skills which impresses his new partner, Detective Jo Martinez (Alana De La Garza). This piques her curiosity about who he is. Each new case and their budding friendship reveal layers of Henry’s long and colorful past. Jo’s sharp, no-nonsense instincts and her ability to close difficult cases have given her a tough-as-nails reputation on the force, despite also dealing with the untimely loss of her husband.
Lucas Wan (Joel David Moore) is a twenty-something self-proclaimed “artisan of death” and Henry’s worshipful assistant. He considers mortuary science an art, and Henry its Picasso. After transplanting to New York City from rural Ohio, Lucas worked up the courage to introduce himself to the star medical examiner at a crime scene.
A Brooklyn native, Detective Hanson (Donnie Keshawarz) works alongside Jo and has worked his way up to the NYPD’s elite squad of homicide detectives. He’s a family man who lives with his wife and two children in Queens. Unafraid of bending the rules to get the job done, Hanson is sometimes skeptical of Henry’s talent but often admires its effectiveness.
No one knows Henry better than his best friend and confidant, an antique shop owner named Abe (Judd Hirsch). The keeper of Henry’s immortality secret, Abe’s “carpe diem” philosophy inspires Henry to get more in touch with the beauty of living. Abe is not immortal but he is determined to make the most out of every moment of life.
Episode #22 — The Last Death of Henry Morgan
Henry and Adam have been on a long, unrelenting collision course, which is about to come to a head – possibly bringing about one man’s death – with only Jo standing in the way. Henry and Jo’s murder investigation into a museum worker’s death centers on a priceless missing ancient dagger, which not only ended the life of Julius Caesar, but also killed Adam the first time.
Meanwhile, Adam knows that there is something that Henry fears more than death – that Jo might discover his mystery. The two men tangle in a tumultuous game-changing confrontation.
First aired: May 5, 2015.
What do you think? Do you like the Forever TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?

This is what the world has come to, Mindless reality shows, About Rich housewives
Kardashians, 20 something and counting (With major scandle) But a good show
like this that has depth. ABC, Disney, Marvel isnt going to last forever as your meal ticket
Again this was a great show. Put the show on another network or different
time slot. say any time slot that has a reality stupid show on it
I loved this show and wish they would consider bringing it back. I would watch it on any channel and I would even subscribe to one of the pay cable channels if that was the only option.
Absolutely loved every single episode and was looking forward to another season! Forever
was the perfect combination of mystery, intrigue, romance and crime all woven together
synergistically to produce a most rewarding tv experience. Please please come back!
Bring it back – it was one of the better shows on tv.
This is a great show. It was a good show to watch with the family. I think ABC made a mistake cancelling this show. there are thousands upon thousands of comments out there on the internet regarding the disappointment of ABC’s decision to cancel Forever. These comments are from all over the world!!! Please re-consider.
My wife and I only watch a few shows together, and FOREVER was our favorite. e are both shocked, and angry the show has been cancelled. Please explain why we or anyone should bother to watch AN Y network tv show, in real time, if you are going to cancel after a season..no point in watching and getting involved, right?
Resurrection, Forever, and Continuum and Believe. All good shows, now all gone!
Good Show, Networks! (Pun intended)
I am with you 100%! I am so reluctant to embrace new tv shows knowing that any higher level thinking shows will be booted for more mindless garbage.
I think this is/was the one of the best shows on TV. Please, please don’t cancel it! Reconsider, there are plenty more twists and turns he plot could take. Love Love Love this show! Bring it back, PLEASE.
We agree!
I think you have made a grave mistake.I agree with Wendy.
Forever should be renewed. It is a heartwarming story with just the right amount of mystery, intrigue and drama.
Just saw the Demographics for this show, only 18-49 age group?? what about the Over 50 Demographics?? Don’t we count? There are about 40 Million of us!
They don’t look at demographics. To busy snorting coke and hoarding $ with crap reality shows.
My Wife and I are so upset that this show is being cancelled. This is our favorite and we Love it!!! Ever episode was well done and had some sort of under lying meaning to life. We finally have a show that wasn’t some stupid reality show that is dummying down the American people. I’m not sure what the network is using as a indicator to determine what stays on TV or not. Whatever it is, it’s not working!
My sentiments exactly. I feel absolutely sick about this.
Bring it back!
It is ridiculous to have cancelled this intriguing show and kept some senseless pap such as Mistresses! You must believe that most viewers are mindless idiots! Of course, perhaps there is something to say about the mindless pap that is shown on most television today, that it makes a good narcotic! It is a good thing that I don’t usually watch television because of the needless exploitation of mind numbing shows. Shame on ABC on cancelling a terrific show.
One of the best show to come a long, and somebody that doesn’t know their head from their tail cancels it. Goes to show you that those that are in charge don’t really care what the public thinks.
I loved this show. I don’t understand why they would cancel this show but continue to bring back something as dumb as Under the Dome. Again this should be put on USA or TNT or another channel that doesn’t cancel everything that isn’t a n unreal “Reality” show. Viewers that are outside the 18 to 45 range may not be as plentiful as those in that range but we probably watch more TV. Aren’t younger viewers supposed to be out dating? We still have money and we still probably watch more TV. The younger viewers aren’t watching the network shows… Read more »
Of course looking at the last episode it seemed to wrap up all questions so it was their plan in the beginning to cancel at that point irregardless of viewers opinions.
I love this show. It should never have been cancelled. A petition on change.org has gathered nearly 75K signatures in an effort to get either WB to reinstate the series or for it to be aired on another network or venue besides ABC. Did I say I LOVE this show?
