No need to worry that Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce will be cancelled anytime soon. Bravo has already renewed the show through season five. The downside is that these will be short seasons and we already know there won’t be a sixth season. The show saw a big slide in the ratings last year. If they rise, could Bravo consider making season six? Stay tuned.
Inspired by the book series by Vicki Iovine, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce follows self-help guru Abby McCarthy (Lisa Edelstein). She shocks the world when she reveals that she has separated from her husband and she soon finds her career in a free fall. As she starts to navigate life as a middle-aged single woman, Abby turns to her divorced friends for advice. Other performers in the Bravo cast include Alanna Ubach, Beau Garrett, Necar Zadegan, Retta, and Paul Adelstein.
