After focusing on reality shows for many years, Bravo decided to get into the scripted drama business with Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. The show was successful enough to land a second season renewal with quite modest ratings. Will the numbers rise or fall in season two? Cancelled or renewed for season three? Stay tuned.
Inspired by the book series by Vicki Iovine, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce follows self-help guru Abby McCarthy (Lisa Edelstein). As she starts to navigate life as a middle-aged single woman, Abby turns to her divorced friends for advice. Other performers include Beau Garrett, Alanna Ubach, Necar Zadegan, and Paul Adelstein.
