The Green Berets are coming to Netflix. Deadline reports the streaming service has ordered a new TV show called The Green Beret’s Guide to Surviving the Apocalypse.
The comedy series comes from military veterans Shawn Vance and Daril Fanin and is being described “as a mix of a survival show full of usable survival skills and how-to’s as well as smart low-brow humor.” Vance and Fanin will also star in the upcoming show.
Netflix has ordered eight episodes of The Green Beret’s Guide to Surviving the Apocalypse. Matt Damon, Peter Berg, Jennifer Todd, Matt Goldberg, and Brandon Carroll will executive produce.

Ok i am retired army and it always.cracks me up how the civilian world thinks 18 series(green berets lol) are just total bad asses. I will grant you over all they are a fine outfit and they know how to rock terrorists. But the end of the world tou need a whole diffrent set of tools. There isnt any ODA teams that i know of that gets end of the world training but with all that said it should be a good show and i love the idea of employing vets.
