Some new and old faces are coming to Greenleaf. Deadline reports Jason Dirden will return for season two of the OWN TV series alongside new cast members Sean Dominic and Roshon Fegan.
The drama revolves around the Memphis-based Greenleaf family, the megachurch they control, and the many secrets they hold. The cast includes Keith David, Lynn Whitfield, Lamman Rucker, Kim Hawthorne, Lovie Simone, Merle Dandridge, and Desiree Ross.
Dirden will reprise the role of Basie Skanks for season two. Meanwhile, newcomer “Dominic will play Martin Jabari Johnson, a handsome record producer and Charity’s (Deborah Joy Winans) preferred choice to produce her new album” and Fegan will play “Isaiah Hambrick, a rising young Christian pop star who shakes up Sophia (Desiree Ross) and Zora’s (Lovie Simone) world.”
Season two of Greenleaf is expected to premiere in 2017.
