Hexenbiests and Blutbaden and Grimms, oh my! Renewed in February 2015, NBC‘s Grimm returns for a fifth season, Friday, October 30, 2015 at 9:00pm ET/PT; 8:00pm Central. Fans believed in this supernatural procedural from the start. At first though, NBC was so cautious with it, that Grimm always seemed in danger of being cancelled. Grimm is one of those series which has defied conventional wisdom. When stuck in the Friday night death slot, Grimm refused to give up the ghost. Ratings-wise, it is on Fridays where Grimm has held its own. Grimm‘s season four ratings averaged a 1.15 in the all-important 18-49 demo.
It is fitting that Grimm has flown under the radar into season five. Star David Giuntoli’s Nick Burkhardt has spent four seasons trying to do the same. While Nick is employed as a homicide detective, his true vocation is that of a Grimm. A Grimm is a human with the strength and skill to keep in check the Wesen — real-world creatures documented in the Brothers Grimm’s fairytales (and other folklore). While being a Grimm complicates Nick’s professional life, his job often enables him to fulfill his Grimm duties. In addition to Giuntoli, the Grimm cast through the years includes: Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, Claire Coffee, and Jacqueline Toboni. Below, please enjoy a pair of season two previews, in anticipation of Grimm‘s season five premiere.

I love grimm please do not cancei
Oh my goodness! Pretty pretty please keep my Grimm show on! It is like what my mom enjoyed watching every time she had to go to a rehab/ skilled nursing facility ! She will watch past seasons until the new season begins and any repeated episode that might pop up on like AMC or TNT in the wee morning hours while in the hospital. I personally love Grimm! It’s way cooler than once upon a time mainly due to the five main characters, Nick, Wu, Monroe of course, the captain and Rosalie. Instead of cancelling awesome gripping shows like Grimm,… Read more »
Grimm is the only show my husband and I schedule time out of our week to see.
Be careful though…don’t turn the show into a soap opera. The original attraction of the show was its creative monsters and what the Grimm has to do to get rid of them. We’re not the least bit interested in the characters’ private lives!
This is one of the only shows I watch regularly besides Sunday Morning and 60 minutes. But October 31 til tonight December 11th. that’s is? why
Actually it’s one of the better and more entertaining show currently on the air at present
Absolutely love the Grimm series, can’t wait for Season 5 to air. Had it down on my calendar for 30/10/2015 & have just realised that’s the release date for America, which has quite spoilt my week. I also hope there will be a Series 6 and beyond. I’m also well past your target audience I have just turned 67. All my friends are now watching as I have raved about it so much.
