Airing on Friday nights, Grimm has never done very well in the ratings. However, it has managed to escape being cancelled each year. At the end of season five, the series will have more than enough episodes for a good-sized syndication package. Will this be the year that it’s cancelled or will Grimm be renewed for a sixth season? Stay tuned.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. The rest of the cast includes Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/5 update: NBC has renewed Grimm for a sixth season. Details here.
5/21 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The fourth season of Grimm averaged a 1.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.81 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

It ‘a beautiful set, especially 4 and 5. I hope there is a sixth, but the character of Grimm is made to appear less idiot in love life. I hope that the character of Nataline they do disappear from his life. I pacerebbe see appear a beautiful actress (she grimm) to help him in the fight against black claw making them fall in love.
P.S. I would see as an actress Maggie Q
Grimm is a very original tv show. I’m amazed by how much it’s story is fulled with fantasies. Sincerely, it is a tv show that needs to be saved at all cost. Love the tv show.
I like the series very much. I’ve been watching it since the beginning and haven’t missed one single episode. I love the characters, the storyline, the fantastic makeup and fight scenes.
I absolutely adore Grimm! thank goodness it has been renewed for season six. But really want NBC to expand number of episodes and quickly! Please do not keep us hanging on. This is a great show. The main characters really bring you in. I am on the edge of my seat every week. I cannot wait for next season.

Please keep this show! This is one of the best you folks have put out in years. It has truly original content, amazing special effects and excellent acting.I am very disappointed at the cancellation of so many different shows I have watched for quite a while on all networks including NCIS, limitless and person of interest. This one and NCIS were my absolute favorites. If this shorten schedule is a prelude to cancellation I will be very disappointed. I am thinking about no longer bothering with the network television shows and changing to watching Hulu and Netflix and such long… Read more »
I am a big fan of “Grimm.” I’m so glad to hear it will be back for another season. I would truly hate to see it cancelled.
Grimm is one of the few remaining original and intelligent shows on tv today. My wife and I plan our weekend around it. NBC needs to take a lesson from the original Star Trek series and not make the same mistake.
I am a follower of NBC Grimm since the start! I don’t know how NBC get their show ratings’ to determine if the show will be cancelled. Is the rating’s Global; being that we have people in other parts of the countries do comment on episodes of Grimm. Are they included into the ratings’ that will determine it’s fate? I love this show! It has action, love, humor and great story lines that emphasize the characters’ part in this great show. I am one of those people that look forward for that Friday when I get to enjoy great entertainment.… Read more »
If NBC executives are really reading these entries, I wish they would consider renewing the series for several more seasons. We normally never watched anything from the major networks – pretty lame shows. PBS, Amazon, & Netflix are and have been our primary source of entertain until the Grimm. You have a really credible show and following. You have great scripts & story lines. Keep it.
I would love grim to stay on an not be canceled at all
