Is Grimm getting cut short? Deadline reports season six of the NBC series may be shorter than usual.
The drama stars David Giuntoli as Nick Burkhardt, a criminal profiler tasked with protecting humans from supernatural beings. NBC renewed the show earlier this month.
However, while the network has renewed Grimm, things aren’t looking great for season six. In March, Giuntoli said if the the network gave the series a sixth season, it “could very well be our last season.”
According to Deadline, NBC has only ordered a minimum of 13 episodes for the new season, as opposed to the show’s usual 22. This does not mean the season will necessarily be only 13 episodes long. NBC could always add more later.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Grimm? Do you think season six will be the end?
Please DO NOT cancel this show. I gather with my family on Friday nights to watch it and we love it. If NBC has a problem, can they move this show to another night? Obviously a lot of folks go out on a Friday night, so the ratings aren’t great. It would be wise to move GRIMM to another night so we can keep watching this wonderful show with the wonderful characters. We’re waiting for Rosalee’s babies and what they will turn out to be. We love that couple. We love Nick and Wu, we love Truble and Juliette, PLEASE… Read more »
My husband and I are fans of the show from across the pond. We have been watching on Alibi. I never expected to find it so enjoyable but the FX and storyline have made for a thoroughly entertaining drama. Fantastic tales but intelligently handled. Hope we get a full final season with a satisfying end to this tale as there remain questions posed to which we don’t yet have answers.
My family loves Grimm! The story lines have just freshened up greatly, and the characters have increasingly interesting story lines. In addition, with some characters going in and out of Portland, for off-camera adventures having to do with the main story line, they are never out of our minds, so when they return, they have new material to add to the stories. Very inventive, and well-acted! I do hope it continues.
Too many great shows are being canceled. It is as if the network executives are not listening to the people.
They just want specific demographics. Grimm, Being human, Second chance, Intelligence, Forever, Aftermath
are all great shows and they have been canceled…
Very upsetting and frustrating …
Grimm is a favorite of my wife’s and she has shed tears that it is ending.
And I shed tears when Forever was cancelled.
I just can’t believe it they are canceling Grimm! Another great show canceled Love this show! Am really upset I think they need to continue with the show! Great cast! Am really sad about it
This is one of the best shows of its genre on TV, right there with Supernatural. I am sad it’s ending.
Hopefully someone will pick this up on another network and save us all from another not funny or vulgar comedy or the almighty reality shows . Grimm is the best thing to happen to NBC in a long time but I guess since they have all the Chicago shows Grimm isn”t important enough anymore.
Don’t cancel Grimm! It’s the only interesting and unique show on TV in a long lineup of crime and hospital dramas that are just more of the same.
I agree with Linds. Grimm is a unique show. Please DO NOT CANCEL IT.
Don’t cancel Grimm!!! This is the only bright spot on Fridays lineup.
I have watched it from the beginning and love the show.
I have followed Grimm since the beginning! How can you cancel this show? This is so not right! Please continue this show, I look forward in watching it every time!!!! Love how they come up with new stories each episode!
Please don’t make this the last season my wife and I love this series were addicted to it
Please don’t cancel GRIMM !!!! Love it .look forward to watching every week.
LOVE GRIMM!!!!!! THEY NEED TO LEAVE IT ALONE.
would like to see at least one more complete season, and longer if they can get rid of the Royals plots. So much better than most of what’s on t.v. for pure entertainment — well done…..
Grimm is the bright spot in our TV week. Please don’t change a thing.
