TV show description:
After purchasing an engagement ring to give his fiance, Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) sees a pretty woman’s face briefly morph into a monster’s. Shortly afterward, he and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), are called to investigate the violent death of a female college student in the woods. Her limbs seem to have been pulled apart by a superhuman wolf creature. Later, a girl in a red coat disappears.
While at the home of his devoted girlfriend, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Nick is visited by his Aunt Marie (Kate Burton), a librarian. She pulls him aside but, before she can tell him the reason for her visit, they’re attacked by a monster. Marie is gravely hurt but Nick shoots and kills the monster — who then transforms into a human. The monster’s weapon is decorated with strange writing that spells “Reapers of the Grimms.”
Badly injured, Marie gives Nick a necklace and tells him to guard it with his life. She also tells him that his parent didn’t die in a car accident as he believed — they were murdered. At the hospital, Marie tells Nick that he is one of the last “Grimms,” an elite line of criminal profilers. They are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. It turns out that the Grimms’ Fairy Tales are true stories and the monsters in them are real.
Nick later inspects Marie’s trailer and finds hidden weapons, books, and other Grimm equipment. He studies an open book and immediately finds a picture of the girl that he saw outside the jewelry store.
While still investigating his case, Nick sees a man named Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) transform into a wolf. It turns out that he’s not the killer. Monroe explains that there are many different Grimm creatures and not all of them are villainous. Monroe has been able to quell his true nature and exist peacefully with humans, like many Grimm creatures do. With his help, Nick locates the killer, kills him, and rescues the girl.
As Nick tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from Juliette, Hank, and his boss, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz), he becomes more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils.

What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Do you think it should be ending with season six? Would you have watched a seventh season?

Let it ride Another excellent show bites the dust. Why do networks think people are going to Netflix, cable, Amazon? More choices, not t same cookie cutter format
I love watching Grimm. I do not like that it’s ending. I have gotten a lot of my friends into watching it and they are so eager on what would happen on the next episode having it on a Friday when people normally go out and do things you can’t expect the ratings to be as great as if you were watching it on a Monday-Thursday evening. Season 5 has got all of us eager and excited for season 6 and would want a season 7 or 8 or more seriously it’s just getting even better. Don’t cancel but if… Read more »
Cancelling Grimm does not make sense. The end of the last season left so many options for future episodes. Now adding salt to the wound by not showing reruns each morning. Do you really need 3 hours of Charmed every day?
so sick of Charmed reruns would be nice to watch Grimm instead
Are we really going there….cancelling the best show NBC has ever had. Sure I know their could have been more shows to compare…but this is one show that made NBC relevant again. But I guess we are stuck with Sunday night football… and that’s only seasonal and only when my team plays. Thanks for the heartache NBC.
why are they ******* up on grimm????i really like having them on 7 days a week why not cancel charmed??????????
I’m at the point of looking at new show that I like as a mini series. Never knowing when it will end.
looked forward to watching every week, should not be cancelled
For the very few series NBC has had that was truly great this is one I always watched, sad to see it go but when it’s cancelled I’ll go back to cable for my shows
WHY WHY WHY WHY
Grimm was one of the few shows on NBC I would watch. Why kick a good dog in the teeth?
Why would anyone and a show like that..they could at least end some of the story lines. I love the show every time I find something I like they take it off…
As usual, a major network cancels a show that actually is suspenseful and is outside of the normal barrage of junk (i.e., inane and senseless comedies) they keep pushing on us. Despite the occasional bit of blood, guts, and gore, the characters were well developed and their interactions are complex and require a little bit of thought to keep up. YES, I would have enjoyed a seventh season.
I want Grimm to return. The stars and the story lines are very entertaining!
I have been trying to be patient with NBC but com’on guys. Grimm is unlike anything else on network/cable/or streaming. The others have to make do with an “R” rating in order to make their plots work. Grimm succeeds on network TV by getting close enough to the edge to keep adults and your idiotic “18 to 34” age group interested. Trust me. They don’t watch your commercials. Although I DVR everything, I watch a lot of the commercials because someone has to pay for productions costs on the Grimm set. You’ve expanded the plot so that my girl Elizabeth… Read more »
Please please Do NOT cancel Grimm!!!! I love this show! Have never missed an episode! I am a huge sci-fi fan and this is one of the best. PLEASE!!!!!
Grimm is my very favorite TV show, the ONLY of the 3 major networks’ shows I watch any more. NBC is making a dreadful mistake cancelling it; they’ll be wishing they had it to replace some of the lame new shows they’re pushing instead!!!! Grimm has its own complex, fascinating universe interwoven with our reality and the characters now feel like old friends, peculiar but beloved!!!!
I love this show, and I’m going to miss it. I watch less than six hours of TV a week, and most of that is documentaries, but I liked this show.
So sorry to hear this show is ending. Why don’t they cancel some of the terrible shows that go on and on and on
