TV show description:
After purchasing an engagement ring to give his fiance, Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) sees a pretty woman’s face briefly morph into a monster’s. Shortly afterward, he and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), are called to investigate the violent death of a female college student in the woods. Her limbs seem to have been pulled apart by a superhuman wolf creature. Later, a girl in a red coat disappears.
While at the home of his devoted girlfriend, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Nick is visited by his Aunt Marie (Kate Burton), a librarian. She pulls him aside but, before she can tell him the reason for her visit, they’re attacked by a monster. Marie is gravely hurt but Nick shoots and kills the monster — who then transforms into a human. The monster’s weapon is decorated with strange writing that spells “Reapers of the Grimms.”
Badly injured, Marie gives Nick a necklace and tells him to guard it with his life. She also tells him that his parent didn’t die in a car accident as he believed — they were murdered. At the hospital, Marie tells Nick that he is one of the last “Grimms,” an elite line of criminal profilers. They are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. It turns out that the Grimms’ Fairy Tales are true stories and the monsters in them are real.
Nick later inspects Marie’s trailer and finds hidden weapons, books, and other Grimm equipment. He studies an open book and immediately finds a picture of the girl that he saw outside the jewelry store.
While still investigating his case, Nick sees a man named Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) transform into a wolf. It turns out that he’s not the killer. Monroe explains that there are many different Grimm creatures and not all of them are villainous. Monroe has been able to quell his true nature and exist peacefully with humans, like many Grimm creatures do. With his help, Nick locates the killer, kills him, and rescues the girl.
As Nick tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from Juliette, Hank, and his boss, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz), he becomes more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils.

What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Do you think it should be ending with season six? Would you have watched a seventh season?

Please find another network to air this excellent show!
I think the tv show is one of the greatest shows all time and I look forward to seeing it . It would be terrible to cancel it. It is the best written show on today. All my friends watch it too. Thanks for your time….John
Don’t end the show, greatly enjoy new adventures each week. I will miss it very much, I’m even rewatching it on tnt, maybe another station could pick it up?? Really hate the idea of it ending, especially with all the open ended story lines.
Please keep Grimm on, it is one of the best shows on NBC. Not everyone in the world likes reality TV. Some of us love this show because it transports us away from mundane television into something unexpected and wonderful!
Keep Grimm on, one of the best shows on,NBC, you made a big error, you turn people on to a show they you take it off why? The effect are great, like no other, are you really serious, please think about putting it back on for all the other fans that like this show !!!!
I must agree with you Phyllis …. they put STUPID shows on that no one really watch or are interested in .. and take the GOOD shows off .. leaving you in limbo .. the way people change on this show is fantastic and the stories are wonderful!! KEEP IT ON!!! Take the stupid ones OFF!
I cannot believe NBC is cancelling this show. It is about the ONLY show that I watch on NBC. They are making a HUGE error with this cancellation. I watch TV to get AWAY from the REAL WORLD and all the horrible things that are taking place. I am retired and I STILL GET UP at 4 am, Tuesday thru Saturday, just to watch the older seasons on another channel. I even quite making plans on Friday nights. My family and friends know I watch Grimm and they have now started to watch it! We even have Friday night “get… Read more »
TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU Marti J!!
Grimm has knocked it out of the park for the past 6 yrs on FRIDAY nights, gaining viewership and NBC is going to cancel it with just 13 episodes? This is the only scripted programming that comes to mind other than NCIS, Blacklist and The Voice. Yet it’s to be cancelled while a spinoff of Blacklist is tried out? And another variation of Law & Order to be aired? What are the powers at NBC thinking?? How can a spinoff be favorable over a program that continues to gain viewers? No reason to watch NBC now.
Maybe a petition to Hulu or Netflix to pick up the show would work.
I am a Grimm fan and would definitely continue to watch. Why would NBC want to cancel it?
Awesome show!! Absolutely upset to hear that it may be cancelled!
Whoever canceled it is a complete idiot! Bring it back!
Love the show, all the special effects and how they mix in a bit of humor at times.
Hate to see it end, we really look forward to Fri nights!
Hope they see enough requests that they bring it back…
The special effects that are created with the characters, are the greatest, how they change people into different creatures is absolutely astounding!! KEEP THE SHOW .. There is soooooooooo much more that could be added and expanded upon. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL .. I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!!!!
Every time I fall in love with a show they cancel it! If Grimm gets canceled I stop watching tv I’m over it already, I am literally canceling my cable after this.
My entire family are Grimm fans. I am sad to here that the show has been cancelled. I would follow the show to a different channel, different day and different time. If only we were given that option as fans.
I love this show. Look forward to seeing it every Friday nights. Please do not cancel it!!
