TV show description:
After purchasing an engagement ring to give his fiance, Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) sees a pretty woman’s face briefly morph into a monster’s. Shortly afterward, he and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), are called to investigate the violent death of a female college student in the woods. Her limbs seem to have been pulled apart by a superhuman wolf creature. Later, a girl in a red coat disappears.
While at the home of his devoted girlfriend, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Nick is visited by his Aunt Marie (Kate Burton), a librarian. She pulls him aside but, before she can tell him the reason for her visit, they’re attacked by a monster. Marie is gravely hurt but Nick shoots and kills the monster — who then transforms into a human. The monster’s weapon is decorated with strange writing that spells “Reapers of the Grimms.”
Badly injured, Marie gives Nick a necklace and tells him to guard it with his life. She also tells him that his parent didn’t die in a car accident as he believed — they were murdered. At the hospital, Marie tells Nick that he is one of the last “Grimms,” an elite line of criminal profilers. They are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. It turns out that the Grimms’ Fairy Tales are true stories and the monsters in them are real.
Nick later inspects Marie’s trailer and finds hidden weapons, books, and other Grimm equipment. He studies an open book and immediately finds a picture of the girl that he saw outside the jewelry store.
While still investigating his case, Nick sees a man named Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) transform into a wolf. It turns out that he’s not the killer. Monroe explains that there are many different Grimm creatures and not all of them are villainous. Monroe has been able to quell his true nature and exist peacefully with humans, like many Grimm creatures do. With his help, Nick locates the killer, kills him, and rescues the girl.
As Nick tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from Juliette, Hank, and his boss, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz), he becomes more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils.

What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Do you think it should be ending with season six? Would you have watched a seventh season?
One of the few tv shows I look forward to watching when it comes on. So disappointed it is ending.
Please do not cancel Grimm. I love the show.
Yes I would definately watch season seven, eight, nine , and ten and even more. The story behind a Grimm being a police officer, and friends that can turn and are good and help Nick find and if he has to kill the monsters. That is a great action story that the whole family can sit down to watch. It is a story that there is no exsplicet sex in it and thank you.
AMEN .. it is totally different from anything else on tv .. it’s original. It’s just a GOOD show that any age can watch!!
yes,I want it to return .we have enough shows with plots that are the same old thing. boring.
Yes I would watch a season 7, I know I’m late in making my opinion but just finding out that the short season six is going to be the last…stinks!! There’s got to be a way to lengthen season six and go to season 7.
Best show on NBC and the ONLY show I watch on NBC! Don’t cancel the only good thing you have going for your station.
This has been the best show on nbc. No wonder their viewers are down in numbers.! I will no longer watch ANYTHING on this network.
Yes we would keep watching. Not much better out there. Very well written
Best show on the network. Only a few match it from other network. No wonder NBC is in the toilet for its viewership. If NBC is dumb enough to dump it maybe Syfy could add it to their repertoire.
I love this show too!!
Seems like if it isn’t a cop show, medical show, reality, fire department or lawyer show it is not on any of the major networks. I work in hospital and trust me it is nothing like what is on TV. I like shows that give you a break from real life. Which the show that are on the major networks like ABC, CBS, NBC AND FOX. Is one of the 5 only. Which i barely watch besides football and Grimm. Maybe CW will pick it up like they did for Supergirl.
Yes, I’d watch a 7th season – favorite show after Supernatural.
My husband and I are senior citizens who LOVE this show! Why is it being cancelled? I am stunned, there’s a lot of other shows that really need to be booted off TV. We are very disappointed and feel NBC is really messing up with this show.
Grimm is the best show on TV, not just NBC. I don’t watch any other NBC show and definitely don’t watch ANY reality TV shows on any station. Grimm is a winner and needs to stay on for many more years. I am so surprised that NBC is cancelling it, but they are the ones who were short sighted before back in the 60’s by cancelling the original Star Trek. Is there any way to protest this to have NBC reconsider and keep it on?
IT’S A GREAT SHOW.. NBC, why don’t you learn from your past mistakes.
I LOVE Grimm!!! I know the show has a huge following and not just young viewers, I’m 67 and have friends in mid to late 60’s and early 70’s that truly enjoy this program. We are all just stunned that this program is being canceled.
NBC has really screwed up and lost a large group of viewers!!
I know how you feel. I am 65 and have been with this show since the beginning. The networks are changing and cancelling or ending all the great shows I watch like this one and Strain. They leave all the reality crap on. I watch a lot of TV and HULU because I am not in the best of health, etc.
Loved this show please bring it back.
