There’s a little good news for fans of NBC‘s cancelled sitcom Growing Up Fisher. The network is finally getting around to airing the last two episodes.
Growing Up Fisher follows an unorthodox family that becomes closer after the parents divorce. The cast includes Elfman, J. K. Simmons, Eli Baker, Ava Deluca-Verley, and Lance Lim. Jason Bateman is the show’s narrator.
The show was cancelled earlier this month due to low ratings. The network only ordered 13 episodes of the mid-season replacement series and the last two episodes have been scheduled and then bumped twice.
The peacock network has now made room for the final episodes on Wednesday, June 11th, at 8pm. They’ll be followed by an NBC News special called “The People VS. O.J. Simpson: What the Jury Never Heard.”
Here are the episode descriptions:

What do you think? Ae you a fan of this series? Will you watch the last two episodes?
I loved this show! I am very disappointed to hear that it has been cancelled. Phooey.
i love this show….it is great entertainment for the whole family….laughter, family oriented, enjoyment without sex, violence, drugs or alcohol….disappointed it was cancelled! I am getting tired of the same old shows like bachelor, etc….reality shows. the reality is this show was based one real life family…..and it made me and my family feel good!
Too bad . It was a really good show for the entire family
Wow!!! What a shame. I admit I was late to watch GUF but when I did I was hooked. Watched the whole season in 2 days.
This is a travesty. One of the best shows on the air today. With all the garbage shows that have been on for years, you cancel one of the best family shows to come along in years. BRING IT BACK!!!!!!
I’m so sad it won’t be returning I absolutely love this show. I watch it with my kids and we enjoy the family bond the characters have. We need more family entertainment and not all this drama of reality tv I don’t allowed my kids to watch. Thanks NBC for making a big mistake.
Great show NBC will be sorry they cancelled it. Was
a good family show. We need more shows like
Fisher to bring our families back to watching TV together.
Very disappointed. It is hard to find something entertaining that the entire family can enjoy! Bring it back, please.
“Growing Up Fisher” is one of the best new shows of the season. I, too, hope someone else picks it up.
This is such a great family show. We enjoy watching as a whole family-I am talking college age kida, too. We are still hoping someone will pick it up and continue!
It is a shame I really liked this show too… sad it was on the family viewing list. They do this all of the time, it is sad when 1 or 2 million people watching, and more online do not count as important anymore.
My whole family loves this show. NBC would have cancelled All In The Family or Three’s Company also. They just can’t accept a show that isn’t a soap opera or reality show format for a comedy. Big loss. Stupid network.
I love Growing up Fisher Guess it’s too “clean” for the network
I ‘ m so sad….this show is not returning…ugh! Believe, Crisis, About a Boy, Hoda and KLG, and Growing Up Fisher. The only shows on NBC worth watching. Again, so sad.
Can’t believe they cancelled GUF. One of the best shows on tv.
